I couldnt care less about the cover of a cd and im often surprised by people complaining about poor covers.
Who cares, once the cd goes in the cdj the music is all that matters imo. |

Yep, couldn't agree more kristyandmoe. I've been surprised about some people complaining about bad covers and then not buying it because of that sole reason. I mean, look at the Wireless compilation from Plusquam. It has some bad artwork, yet still: a great compilation of tracks. And it's just like said by kristyandmoe, once the cd goes in, it's the music that matters.

Once again you come with the killer... basta please...
In my opinion a good record with a very bad cover is like a V12 motor in an horrible coachwork..
It's just a pity.

For me the CD as a whole is one work of art- there are many elements to it- the music is most important of course, but the cover is also an element- and I like it to look good.
When I see covers that are boring, unoriginal or that obviously no one made an effort for (which happens quite a lot in trance), I feel like the label treats me with disrespect as a potential buyer. I don't like it.
Of course covers, like any form of art, are a matter of taste as well.

In agree w/ Shahar and would add that each cd is a fractal of how the label represents itself and the artists . . . . At least thats how we see it
