I wonder what are you doing with them.
It doesn't sit well on my CD shelf, i presume it doesn't on most of those.
Most of the time i think that they are totally obsolete and i would prefer the labels wouldn't make them in the first place.
Wasted wood material if you ask me.
PS. The promo sheet that comes with the double Bluetech album is beatiful but i have no idea where to put it. It should have been done in a way that it could be put inside the CD sleeve. Don't you agree?          Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I always stick all my cd's in a portable flip-case, so all the plastic and cardboard that is left after this clutters up boxes in my garage!!!

Some of the more beautiful ones such as Dakini Records and limited editions I keep..
Earthling - 'Patterns' came with a seperate removeable inlay card which fits neatly in the flip-case, which I thought was a nice touch. Maybe more labels could do this??

What do you mean?

a) The cardbox around a regular plastic cd. (Like around marilyn Manson - Antichrist and Mechanical Animals, or Infected MUshroom - CV)

b) When a cd case it all about cardbox material (like Juno Reactor - Bible of dreams and Shango, or like Infect3ed Mushroom B.P Empire)

c) Non of the aboves

psytones, he doesnt mean digipack - which is the packing itself.

pavel is speaking of the extra sleeve cover that sometimes encases the whole deal... let me see if i have some here... yep.. panick cd was like that, old cosma cd has it as well.

i agree pavel, totally useless. i say pay the artists more with the money saved from not having to make those.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

I have some left over as well, like from the new albums from Rinkadink, Son Kite, Psycraft, ABA Structure and Sub6. Most of them look good though (especially Sub6 and Son Kite), but unfortunately they’re just too big to fit into my CD-holder on the wall.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

they're not necessary at ll indeed. sometimes they are cool and a part of the concept (son kite - colours) but if they have just the same picture as on the cover its useless (beat bizarre - pandoras groove box, hux flux - division by zero, etc...). still they fit perfectly in my shelf

Like 'surrender' my Cosma cd has a cover like the one ur talkin abt. I listen to a lotta Cosma , at odd hours so its mostly in my Cd case logic.
but i've made a nice mandir for my psychedelia and this is everpresent on that shelf.

Naah Detox, I also think it can be really nice (like on Son Kite and Sub6), but unfortunately it doesn’t fit in my CD-holder, so the card-boxes usually end up in a shelf. Because of that, I would rather see the labels make some more extensive booklets instead           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

I have Sub6's signature on my cardbox cover
None the less, it gathers dust as all my useless cardbox covers.
Once i had the idea to glue them to the wall. But for some reason it didn't hold much time there.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Ikea ones rock, you can adjust the shelves to fit in the containers, and the last for ages, easy to put together and take apart and dirt cheap just biugs me when my girlfriend like to take my cd's out and put them in thw rong place, so have to spend about 2 hours searching to find them and put them back in the right order (I'ma bit psycho when it comes to my collection - to the point of having it insured)
