to be able to distinguish the dark you need the light
which is totally cool

  You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me? |

if it becomes fluff its sucessful commercially which means no stinky artists...well groomed with prada sunglasses, Diesel jeans, and no dreadlocks...see how in coming fluff changed Dark Soho to Krunch....yes they can sell Pepsi & Coke now....so i think dark needs some fluff otherwise the scene will smell bad and incense burning causes global warming

Hey, is it true that the cardiac beats per minute in a mothers woom is exactly 145 bpm ??

well u can check your own
i promise u its not the same when u dance and when u sit home relax
usual when siting is 70-80 and when dancing 110-130 and more , depend how hard can u dance
anwyaz i can enjoy music in any bpm , it got nothing to do with physical dimension exept thats the way i express it

not totally sure what u mean by mothers woom, but I think its this:
afaik, its not exactly 145, butthe baby got ca twice the heardbeat of the mother, which would lead you to something between 140-160 with 70-80 heartbeat of the mother
back on topic:
I really like it when dark mixes with some lighter elements...it makes a bigger contrast inside the track and makes it more interesting imo
cant really deal with extreme dark stuff...simply boring imho

I'm waiting for someone to bring some complexity and intelligence back to the darker music-like alot of the Russian artists did. A godo example of the light in the dark type stuff is the Glooex track on the Dream Theatre comp. Beautiful, blissful, heavy and totally driving night time music. Could be one of the best psy tracks I've heard. I'd also like this whole "how fast can we make the beats go" shit to stop. Please. It's this lame BPM circle jerk that adds nothing to the music. It does'nt make it "darker" just more grating.
we should be taking clues from Para Halu, Kindzadza, old Terminator/Zolod stuff, Samadhi etc. I think they really nailed it in terms of intelligent, danceable dark music. |

IMO, dark psytrance sounds a whole lot better with a bit of goa psy or morning tunes in it |

actually it sounds darker what there is melody inside. doesnt have to be in the first place but in the background growling or chanting adding dark mysterious atmosphere... not just grrrr trrr bzzzz krrrggggg trrrggrgrg.. blah... and also 160bpm trax sux too...too noisy and without a point or story.

that's what i call "fluffy dark"
it's that kind of music that does sound fast and twisted yes but that for sure doesn't make me feel like entering a dungeon or a dark scary forest...
so tracks that does sound like dark but that arent dark at all
especially in Belgium they can do that a lot toss a "darkset" where every song sounds the same with the same type of sounds just in a bit different structures
luckyly there are still a few good dark artists around which are playing mad sometimes also fast but that in the first place make you feel like being in the darkness of the dungeons of a haunted castle
no situation is stronger then a heart that dares to love
so may the force of life light and love be with you |
