well this is not my real question and i don´t wish that to happen..but lately i have been listening to some tracks, and i found that a lot of "dark" and "agressive" artists are pushing boundaries and "producing/writting" dark music with that "touch" of happy melodies, and even goa melodies..do you guys think this will be a tendencie or just a grain of sand?           ...

i think it's just breaking the shackles or boundaries related to any genre/subgenre, IMO which is good...... blending the stuff, ofcourse should sound appropriately harmonious...           We were born naked & grow up to become wicked.

to be able to distinguish the dark you need the light

which is totally cool           ---

i think it is a slow developing tendency. presently i see indigo records as being on the forefront of this new kind of dark music, with ocelot's dream selector, the deja vu fabrique album and even namaste from russia 2. at times it gets kind of cheesy, but i guess i admire this music, because its like coming full circle, from light to darkness to light once again. if anyone is interested in this kind of music look out for va - 25th frame, the delerious noon (furious's morning project) tracks are definitely unique , also look out for va - snap crackle drop off morning monster records.           www.soundcloud.com/ishikawa

I totally agree that the Goa melodies are coming again and we will see them on all the styles.
I hope we will see more melody in Dark-psy, more down-tempo. It doesnt mean it will became fluffy...just a diferent vibe. Melodies can be very dark and doomish.
I really like the new stuff from PondScum or Ram...they have tracks going a bit slower but full of details and inteligent breaks instead of a constant galop of the bpm or an orgy of effects

Well.... as I would like to say...

IMHO, this kind of music is called here in Brasil of new trends... the tracks are not too much dark or too much full on... it's crated the both sides of WTF!!
For me, it's the best kind of music that i have heard!!

Hope see this in many artists that is borning today!!!

It has more things... but now I'm very nervous to write cause of this error!

Resuming... that's it!

You mean, even more fluffy?

Like an old philosopher once said: "There's fluffiness inside every scream..."

Respect!           .
...Be gentle with the earth...
...Dance like nobody's watching...

...I don't mind not going to Heaven, as long as they've got Coffee in Hell...

A typical criticism of darkpsy is that its not all that dark... merely hard and noisy... and sometimes those noises do manage to sound a little light-hearted, for sure.
