Hi freaklovers !!
well would like to know ur opinion about this point : what makes the psy so powerful , is much more than the music , over this , the psy creat a special vibes towards the psypeople, this tribe does really exist in ohter genres, or psytrance is really special concerning this point ?¿?
we are a big big world tribe on !!! and this feeling implies a philosophy people know more or less ...... wnaa hear ur opinion about this point , psY why this super vibe with most of listeners , this community feeling ?¿?¿? i love it but still being mysterious , not used to see that in any other musical genre, waiting for heairng ur opinions ,booom and good vibes

Ehm, i'm here only for the good music... Is it bad?
Can i stay selfish, unsocial and bad mannered as i am most of the time? Or should i fit myself to the tribe of the enlightened?

There are definite feeling of community in many other dance music genres, but when it comes to a global community, psychedelic trance seems to be able to connect with the most amount of people around the world with less issues.
But I have seen large communities of just about every single genre. Just not really on too much of a global front.

The human scenery has changed over the years I have been going to psy trance parties but thankfully young and new people join and bring their energy but for me its love of the music and the dance floor action that keep me coming back for more and because of the undergound nature of trance parties (outdoors, no commercial sponsors, promoter who love the scene) its always kept a special place in my life

there are lot of diferent community based on different techno and non techno music.
even the "goa tribe " is since 5/7 years completly changed from what it was. the explosion of parties, festivals, labels, public and so on brought constructions and destructions.
but whatever music or substance you like the "true" goa tribe vibe should be based on spirituality...which means integrating, dances, peoples, musics, events, behaviours, lifes etc... in a constructive way of expanding consciousness of peoples all over the world (you, me, her and him) and changing the general evolution of this world to a safer one, a more peacefull one, a more loving one...this is (or should be !!) the specificity of the goa trance "tribe" among others teck/tribes. |

I would say that lately the parties I go to, the main thing there that attracts me is this closeness between ppl that is not apparent in other genres. Unfortunately, the music aspect of it has been lacking at parties, while there is much much innovative psychedelic music that I can hear at home and enjoy without help from any vibe (unfortunately).

I dunno about global communities not existing around different types of music. I think it is there for most genres, maybe not with exactly the same vibe, but it's there.. in many cases I think it merges with the psytrance scene, for example, I know heaps of people that are into psytrance but are also into dub, or techno, or glitch & attend parties in those scenes... it's all interconnected the closer you look at it - it's all quite beautiful to me
