Trancers guide to North America anyone? This would be a sweet project and would enable MANY great things, connections, collaborations, growth, etc etc etc to happen.

If anyone wants to get down with me on this as a very potential project in the making, inspired by this thread, please PM me.

Theres so much activity in so many regions, it would be nice to be able to distribute details (through either printed or web medium) on who does what where how often, what size, predominant genre, vibe, venues/locations, etc etc...Some crews do things for all the right reasons, I want to know more about them! I think I can safely assume that others do as well....

I had lotsa fun traveling across the country this (extended) summer visiting different families in our tribe.

been doing mixed genre events with extra heavy doses of psy for 8 years now (only a small handfull can claim that much longevity, not to mention its the crew that birthed myself along with Mubali)

While what we have done as straylight might have had a heavy dose of psy, I'm sure the other founder of Straylight would definitely say that our focus isn't solely Psychedelic Trance. And to have Straylight featured in a publication that really doesn't lend itself to other genres that well, would kinda take the focus away from why we were doing Straylight to begin with. Straylight was never really all about psy,you and I were all about psy. Straylight productions initially was and really still is about providing a good time to all of our old friends in our home town of Monterey, so they could experience biannually what we tend to experience on a virtually monthly or weekly basis.

Dude... to get in the trancer's guide, you need to actually throw a flippin party. Don't forget that the annual guide is to tell you about who's actually doing stuff this year so people know to check them out. I have experience with the events you have done in the past so I'm sure that by this time next year, you'll probably be a shoe in, but to mention a crew that actually hasn't done any parties yet is just hype. It's almost on the same degree of silliness as the dj mag top 100, almost... I know you wanna shake up the paradigm, 20 cent, but talk is cheap and b/s runs the marathon.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

"talk is cheap and b/s runs the marathon."
