Colorado - there is also a newer organization called Paradigm Productions based out of Denver. They happen to coincidentally share the same name as another promiment US dj, but the name Paradigm Productions was chosen years ago (before they started doing psy events) when they first started out as a full sound and production company. I think they have around 4 or 5 indoor psy events under their belt, and last summer they did a pretty good size outdoor party with Treavor and Brad from Moontribe, and they also had a Wacky Shack dj play. I know this coming summer they have at least three more big outdoors planned, including another Moontribe collaboration. They have a nice secure ranch location in Colorado and a kick-ass full turbosound rig.

oh crap I forgot about Alex/Paradigm Productions. Haven't heard from them since last May's Moontribe event. I know Alex does sound for a lot of the massives in town, good to know he's still planning psy stuff for the future.

          ..it's just another party..

Psyched to see so many crews in the US...I guess I didn't realize there were such in every region. Awesome! Yeah we here at Paradigm in Colorado are familiar with the other local collectives, and have even had the pleasure to work with some cool peeps from Wacky Shack and Spacedub Vibrations...hopefully we can collaborate further soon....DMTree, Jagged Sound, Onetribe...excited to do some meeting of the minds.

I think in the general context of the magazine that this is going to be put in, they're looking for crews that do PREDOMINANTLY psychedelic trance events. This is the "Trancer's Guide to the Galaxy" and I know if I for instance wanted to go to a party in Bangladesh and many of the crews listed may only put one psy dj on for one party a year and the rest of the time is something else, I'd be a bit miffed. It's fine to have other genres and whatnot, but you have to realize that this particular publication is all about psy.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Indeed... Also remember that this is a tiny little 5x5 zine and each country gets a tiny little page. Aaron is going to basically have to skim this whole thread and pick the "top" 5 most active groups/areas and just give a small blurb. "Hey, there's Symbiosis Festival and Burning Man and SF/NY/LA and scenes are getting started nicely in the midwest and south. Peacock-out!"

I like the little trance zines, but they are so small and limited they don't get to provide a lot more information than "Hey, there is trance somewhere here!". Space requirements in similar magazines usually result in reviews that are composed entirely of "Yeah, this ones killah! Right on."

Another reason the slow death of the detailed Isra review section is so sad.

For those in the NE, don't forget about out Jersie family that graces us with lots of parties. Of course details can't be mentioned but I saw a couple of words about them in this year's edition.
Keeping my finger's crossed to see USA colored in a deep purple "world trance center" label this year!!!...or should just be happy we were upgraded to red.           "It's ALL about the clickety-clack!!!!"-Neuronympho

STRAYLIGHT in Cali
been doing mixed genre events with extra heavy doses of psy for 8 years now (only a small handfull can claim that much longevity, not to mention its the crew that birthed myself along with Mubali)

and though no events have will have been done by press time, and will only be in promotional stages at that point

XCIENCE, in the midwest boasts one of the most obscene collections of top shelf dj's in the country outside the Touch Samadhi, mega conglomerate.
Logical Light Music - SF
Straylight Productions -SF
Sound/Mind - Denver
Xcience - Midwest
