buying music wav or mp3 beatport?

i want to buy some new music im also starting to dj ......my question is in beatport says quality of 320 mp3 is good but i dont know ....buying musik from psy is what i do buy y fell dissapointed with some v.a i buy is just like i all just two tracks .......
how is the quality of sound of mp3 from beatport ? |

every single 320kbps tune that is purchased at beatport sounds pretty decent, although there is the option for you to purchase the WAV file for an extra buck or two depending of the track you're trying to purchase....
worth to try it out for yourself....

It depends also where are you going to play it. With a better sound system is also more worth buying wav.
Also take into account how much do you want to buy if you prefer quantity over quality.
you will also find that some tracks have lower volume that others no matter if wav or mp3. |

i'd never play an mp3 over a big/club system, even 320 kbps. they say it's 'cd quality' but it's still compressed + missing frequencies. just get the wavs |

I always buy WAV (instead of 320) but CDs still cheaper.

Totally agree.
I always buy the Wav-files if it is possible.
Actually found a track at Beatport where Wav wasn't an option, which sounds pretty strange, as Beatport make their MP3's out of Wav-files from the labels.

Who actually wants to start that discussion in this thread ? 
Anyway, i havent, but i can hear mp3's miles away...  Depending on the encoder. The bigger rig/space the easier it would be to distinguish Unless ofc. the original material was made out of mp3's or something like that 
Now instead answer me, who would play someone else's music in "bad"/not optimal versions, if they had the choice ?
Stick to .wav its allready lousy enough as it is....

I have to tell,
I know for a fact, that the vast majorety of the Israely DJ's (Not speaking of the big names) in clubs, bars and partys ARE playing ONLY mp3, and don't even know of the existance of wav and it's benefits.
I even know some semi-large scale DJ's that burn mp3 as an mp3 (Data, not audio) and use them on CDj-200/400/800/1000
I bet most of you went to at least one of their events and didn't noticed the quality!

yes indeed happens all the time......
also to answer the question Profane Made yes I have done that blind test right from the mastered mp3's of a recognize spintwist Live Act and dindt heard any difference on a big sound system......
