Yes, Burning Man is one of the saving graces that we as United States citizens can point to and say, "See, people of the world? We're not all ignorant morons!"
As far as psytrance stages go this year, I think the only serious one is going to be the Outpost23 Camp. And I don't think (and please correct me if I'm wrong, Obu) that it's going to be on the 2:00 or 10:00 large-scale sound strips either.
For sure there will be a 4-hour psytrance journey on Sunday morning, after the Burn, starting at 7am at camp Opulent Temple. Me and my friend ATUM will be tagteaming there, at what is most likely going to be one of the best sound systems to ever hit the Playa.
Otherwise, I haven't heard of anything. I'm emailing other LSSound Camps and seeing if they want a psytrance DJ or two. Maybe Obu and I will have to make the rounds together and do some renegade, at-the-last-minute fill-in sets or something. Heheh.

Psy at the Opulent temple... and after the burn no less!!!
It was Oakenfold Friday night... and Tiesto at sunrise after the burn, last year at Opulent Temple. I actually went to just see what Tiesto is like "live" and was quite disappointed, though my hopes weren't up TOO high.
I said something aloud, and a few people asked me what I thought was better.
CPU happened to be playing at Trancendance at the same time... and I got a group of people to leave Tiesto and dance their asses off to CPU.
But to have someone like Little B rocking the Opulent... wow that will be way nice. |

Haha, this should be one hell of a year! We will go well past 7AM, so no worries there. Brian is right though, we will not be a HUGE sound system, unfortunately we do not have the funds right now to support such an infrastructure. We will have killer sound for scale though and extremely good music from the community.
And definitely do not miss Sentient's set at Opulent, they have such a kick ass setup, and after the burn - it should be sweet!
Brian - haha, I'm definitely down to renegade some sets! It's on my friend!
Can't wait for this !
