Broke speaker, what new ones should i get?

Today i have successfully managed to break my other last studio monitor speaker. The wire's were not tucked in correctly which is a part of health and safety (I failed my health and safety course ) So when i put my feet down under my table and lean back, my foot catches the wire and my speaker did a triple backflip in the air..
I knew it was broken before it even hit the ground, very stupid i know. Im looking to get some new ones anyway, can anyone, any music producers? Recommend any good studio monitors?
I've been looking at some KRK RP8 G2 ones look good, but i dont have lots of money, any recommendations??

you could make some DIY one if you want to save money..if you get into really into this, you will be able to build some very good ones for far les money..
and its a cool experiment anyway..
