LIGHT - let me point out that the only reason Britney titled her new song "ME AGAINST THE MUSIC" is cause it is a catchy, trendy title, which might stir a little debate from people who take it serious (like you). It's just a way to sell more records and get more attention and you took a bite of it

Oh, I doubt that Britney titles the music, nor that it's "her" song.
Well you certainly are as much as me in this debate

Just wanted to add that all the time and thought invested in generalisation of the music and shelving it on the commercial/not commercial slots is totally ridiculous.
I don't give a shit what paycheck the artist recieves in the end of the day, as long as the final product puts a smile on my face.
As for BS i think the only tune by "Her" that i really liked was "Boys" and it was produced by the mighty Neptunes.
And offcourse Travis' cover of "Hit me baby one more time" is one of the most wicked cover versions ever.
NP: Justin Timberlake - Like i love you

I think that if you start refering to these preformers (e.g Brittny, Christina etc') as products, you might get a better picture - most of these 'artists' are merly products of wise producers, and this I think is the main issue. Some of thse producers are extremely talented (Orbit, Neptunes, P.daddy for instance) and produce really good music (IMO), while others tap to some formula and simply imitate it.

solution: let's all forget about her right now, never mention her name, and all pretent never to notice anything that is even remotaly related to her (agency)...
if we all believe she doesn't exist. she doesn't exist!
ps the videoclips are ok if you put the tv on mute
