Artist Profile :
Braincell is Ralph Knobloch. Ralph grew up in a small town in Germany. He learned to play instruments like guitar, trumpet, percussion etc., and started playing in a rock band. In 1994 he had first experience with trance music at a small party in Swiss. After that he started DJ-ing for 3-4 years, which was followed by a need of producing his own music. He created RASTALIENS together with his friend Jurgen and they released 3 albums and many singles on labels such as Boom, Hadshot, Balloonia, Timecode, Glowing Flame and others. After moving to Switzerland in 2003 he starts his own project BRAINCELL which is a different style to the RASTALIENS. This sound is mystical and atmospheric, with groovy bass lines, creepy noises and freaky melodies. Braincell released two albums for Glowing Flame records: Universal Language in 2005 and Transformation of Reality in 2007.

This is the best gift GFR can bring to us...
Braincells last album was a classic... his tracks on Little Worlds were second to none, this one is just going to send shivers down our spine...

to tell the truth i was waiting an album from Imaginary Sight ( i think we`ll have it soon too ) .. but ralph its working so hard.. and we`ll taste it

hmmm when i checked his website for the album info 4-5 months ago it wrote that its gonna be released in july 2008, when i checked 2 months ago it wrote august 2008 and now i see September but i dont really care actually, this month ill have the yudhisthira cd at my hands, the other month ill have braincell

excellent news, I can always use new albums with great replay value..
the last one blew my mind and I thought universal language was impressive.
I'm guessing some of these new tunes were in that amazing set he played at gaian mind..
