I just bought my tickets to Brazil with my connecting flight from Rio to Salvador and back.. I am SOOOOOOOOO stoked to make UP a reality this year... FINALLY! Other than BOOM! this is the only other psy gathering i've been craving to check out! Can't wait to come and enrich the vibe!
Alok- I sent several emails about doing a sustainability workshop. Let me know if thats a possibility!

Well yeah can you imagine the amount of people stuck in lines if we were only allowed to come in on the day the party started?
Nearer the time the universo crew shall post up official details but yes you should be fine.
Depending on how big the line is you can take up to one get your ticket and get thru security.
Have 20 reais ready for the pau d`arrara (the truck that carries us to the acctual party), also depending on the time you get there you can expect to wait a bit also.
But as stated before this is all personal experience and if you have any doubts just send a mail to the email provided on the site.

Cool, thanks for the info!
I've seen crazy lines at festivals that don't let you enter until the exact time so I can imagine the amount of people stuck in line, and it sucks. haha.  Good to hear UP isn't like that. |

Polyphonia is playing... but i get your point! the line up is very good , dont get me wrong, the oldskool is great and some good nightpsy artists but it always can be better

There are safety boxes @ the festival but personally I would never trust my ID to anyone other than myself. That and my camera. If it is important keep it always with you and if you can`t handle your ***** don`t take them in the first place

I see that the complaining disease has also started the attacked on this event. First BOOM and now UP. It starts with the line-up (never good enough), after it goes on the infrastucture (no fluoro lights, no aliens or elfs, blablabla...), then it gets to the food (too expensive, too long queues, no sushi, and so on), then it goes after the org (they're just a bunch of greedy pigs, no respect for the people, etc.), and everything the virus can spread to. Be prepared my brazilian friends. It's a chronic disease, there's no cure, only palliative measures can be applied.
