The secound compilation compiled by guy salama show us the top leading act on hom.mega production. The compilation has the same name as the well known radio show "BPM FM / Trance on air" which is hosted by the radio station http://www.99ecs.co.il

comments:

01. The first track is a well mixed intro which contain some radio sounds from bfm and well known psy tracks like sub6 - ra heya, dali - colors band or x-noize - breaking the toys

02. The compilation starts with a brand new track by astrix and michele adamson. The track beginns with some voices sample by michele which i like very much. The track is a very well choosen beginning. Michele and Astrix harmonie works very good. Michele with her wonderful voice and astrix with a powerful full on blaster. A very nice wonder- and powerful track.

03. The third track is a remix to the classic song "cellophane" by Violet vision. The first minutes are very groove smooth but when the hihats set in the track starts to burn !!! at 3.02 the track breaks and the vocal part by cellophane set in than. the beat comes back and all is on fire. really awesome track by sub6 & domestic. one of my favorite tracks on this cd.

04. X Noize the newcomer of the year show us their knowledge about psy trance. Very hard and straight to the point. The track comes with some vocal parts which are set very perfectly in this amazing kind of music. At 2.45 a long break beginns. atmosphercial pads and melodies come up which bring us to the highlight of this song. great work by these guys !!

05. Here we have again the awesome remix by infected mushroom to astrix coolio. i dont have to say much to this track. its released and reviewed befor. anyway great track !!!

06. Chakra in combination with xerox & illumiantion which bring us another highlight from this compialtion. with funny vocal and a really serious produced track they hit my mind for sure.
the first part of the track is very groove with some funny vocals and a nice sample line. at 3.40 the track starts to kick, melodies , pads and a wicked baseline change make this tune to an really spectecular dancefloor bomb. one of the best tracks i had heard in the last month.

07. the track by black & white starts with an melodical e. piano befor the base set in. a groove base and a smashing highhat line bring it to the point .. the baseline and the piano comes more more and at 5.31 the track breaks and the highlight is coming up ...the melodies goes faster and faster then the pumps in and hit every dancer !! very serious dancefloor stuff.

08. is dali. the first lady i know which produced this kind of full on psy trance. A hard guitare track which an awesome singing part by dali himself. heavy party bomb which is waiting for the release. at 2.14 the madness starts and stops at the end of the track. Can't wait to hear more stuff like this by this very talented girl.

09. Psycraft in combination with the compiler himself mr. guy salama.
very warm pads, a hard baseline and great guitare rifs hit me when i hear this song. another great track for party times.

10. Delirious with a remix to dynamic force which was released on the first nuclear vision of israel. the track is a morning one with fine melodies and a uplifting baseline. when i hear this one i really looking forward to the upcoming debut album "breaking point".

11. Xerox & Illumiantion bring us another morning track which starts very slow but 3.08 the track breaks the melodies stop and a hard driving xerox & illumiantion baseline is coming up and blast us to the sky ... later the melodies come back and round the sounds to an perfect tune. a very high classed produced one by xerox & illumiantion.

12. the compilation starts and end with michele adamson. this time in combination with psysex ... a very slow emotional track at 135 bpm with lovely samples and nice melodies. rounded up with michele wonderful voice and pretty cool lyrics. a perfect end for an perfect compilation.

for me is this cd a must buy and i hope the hom.mega crew and guy salama has a big success with it. and that many ppl around the world will hear and play it !!!!

my rating for this cd is 9,5 / 10 because i love all tracks and i think for me its one of the best compilations of the year!!!

keep it up guys .. stay tuned and listen to this music !!!

p.s sorry for my english

bye peace tom

Nice review, keebota.
I bought this release as well, and I love it.

High quality tracks, nice CD sleeve with BPMs for all tracks, the artcover show a robot with female 'features' (like breasts, hehehe).

Best tracks IMO are:

- Psycraft feat Guy salama - Alegria --amazing atmosphere and MELODIES and sample from the movie MEMENTO. I love this track!!!

- Chakra vs Xerox & Illumination - 7 days -- do the job, Xerox style! Samples: "Their music and voices are all around us" and "DJ took pills to stay awake and play for seven days."

- Psysex feat Michele Adamson - Your place or mine -- Groovy porn stuff. A must have! And it is different from the version out on NET. Sample:
"Wanna come up to my place?
Tell me that you love me and sit on my face.
Don't give me your name, I don't wanna know...
Show me what you're made of and go!"

- Violet vision - Cellophane (Sub6 & Domestic rmx) -- No words.

- Astrix - Coolio (Infected Mushroom rmx) -- This is what I call 'Soviet Attack'. Crazy stuff by the Infected guys, everyone knows this track, it was released before at the Astrix - Coolio single.

I like all tracks, but Dali's track is WAY TOO POP for me. Someone should inform her this is PSYchedelic trance (Just my opinion). For sure work on dancefloors these days, but these days dance floors rarely are psychedelic.

Anyway I bought this release and I like it. I'm happy.

Verdict: 8.5/10
What could be better? Whole tracks, instead of "edit" versions. I want a whole verison of the Psysex & Michele Adamson track!
Respect!

Xerox and illumination never dissapoint me.
The Chakra and Xerox/Illumination track is my fav on this cd. A dj's dream, thumpin beast, rolling bassslines. Serious dance music.

Very Good VA! Thumbs Up!
It has to be Hom-mega All those tracks are great, except for Your Place or Mine, not so good :/ but there's a not-so-good track in every compilation
I like Cellophane Rmx, Breaking the Toys 2nd Version and Closer to Heaven are the best ones, Color Band is a good track too.
DJ Guy Salama made a very good selection, we'll wait for his next compilation.

What Full-on wrote could represent almost the entire CD.

The “intro” show us that we won’t find a underground psychedelic CD on this release. Lot of vocal samples took from “Radio One”... The most commercial songs are there.

I recognize the serious production from Hommega and their artist; we find really high quality tracks there. But BPM was made to be POP…

What should not be in this VA:

03. Violet vision - Cellophane (Sub6 & Domestic rmx.)147 bpm
Nice track. Strong groove bassline. The only vocal is not too bad.

06. Chakra vs. Xerox & Illumination - 7 days bpm 143 bpm
Psychedelic with quite good melodies. Not special track but it works on dancefloor.

10. Delirious - Dynamic force remix 145 bpm
I like Dinamic stile. Full on with some nice build ups.

11. Xerox & Illumiantion - Fly 143 bpm
Well done. The best track from this CD.

Regarding to Astrix I prefer his old stuff. I miss so much Nu Clear Vision II…

But this is a matter of taste… I actually hated most of the tracks from BPM.

Respect guys!!

Indeed. As far as full on releases go, this, to me, is one of the least interesting cd's out there at the moment. I cannot recommend this at all.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."
