Anyone know a site, database or any way find the BPMs of whole albums that does not come with BPMs on the cover?
(please do not ask me to try to do that on the CDJ + mixer, that's what I'm trying to avoid)
Thanks.
Respect!

Mixmeister (Pro) might be of service, but from my research it seems that the harmonic detection is only about 60% accurate... there is a bug that disables the ability to detect major keys. Hopefully it gets fixed in a future version.

yup but the tool is not very useful if you don't have your music ripped to your computer. A website could be arranged for this purpose, but who in their right mind would do all that work for free? it's already miracle we have resources like PsyDB online. It would have to be a website where all users could input data as well.
If anybody knows and feels like doing a some DB programming to code something to that effect, getting some webspace wouldn't be much of a problem

Sure, but if you're getting the tool - might as well go with something you can grow into.
Do you get any major keys from MMPro? The 60% figure I quote comes from the originator of the keycode system...

ME! Because some labels do not provide a DJ sleeve or the BPMs, so that I must made my own...
Yes, this software is really helpfull, better than the ones I knew, thanks.
Webspace is not a problem, the problem is time...

Just start an online form. Click CD, tracklist shows up, and let the people enter BPMs. That would get a lot of data collected.

LOOOOL...
my point exactly..
even as a listener, a dj or a monkey, i still don't understand why anyone would lose sleep over this.
it might be a little convinient for a dj, that i have to admit.. but really..
