Ok
your getting married - you've got your normal wedding recpetion in the evening but at 10pm until 10am the next day you've got the proper reception (party) - ovbiously getting married is a big thing so you got a massive budget - so who you gonna have ?
here's mine -

10- 12 - Younger Brother
12 - 2 - Suria (really liked that cd this weekend!)
2 - 4 - Me
4 - 5 - Talamasca live
5 - 7 - Talamasca dj set
7- 8.30 - Electric Universe live
8.30 - 10 - Human Blue live

On another note - Electric Universe - Transmission
it may be the lack of sleep over the weekend but i really like this - its very cheesy and comercial but there you go - what do's anyone else think of this track?
l8ers
andy
ps - i appreciate i stand out but its my party and i'll play if i want to:)

hmmm well i guess i would have to have a full-on room and progressive room. It would be necessary to cater for all tastes at my wedding reception.

annotated Full-On Room:

10 - 12 Tristan DJ set (i like andy's thinking...)
12 - 2 Hux Flux Live (wanna go back to Boom now now now!)
2 - 4 Psyside live (why do i never hear these tunes in UK?)
4 - 6 Digital Talk Live (turn the screws!!)
6 - 8 Mr peculiar Live (yum yum Solid comp is now on sale at Chaos!)
8 - 9 Dado DJ set (leading into.....)
9 - 10 Transwave Grand Reunion Event (whhoooopie!!! time for brain to melt like ice cream at the beach!!)

Ok what are the folks in the next room dancing to? I would have trouble leaving the full-on room, but the following may tempt me:

8 - 9.30 Bitmonx Live... blending into
9.30 - 11 Phony Orphants live
11 - 1 Son Kite
1 - 2.30 Lish Live
2.30 - 4 Cosma !!
4 - 6 Noma live
6 - 8 - Anders Tillman DJ set (wander to cauldron (see below) whenever he is thinking of trying to beatmatch...
8 - 10 **ATMOS** and time to pass out from massive psychedelic overload....

clearly there would be mushroom tea in huge cauldrons with ladels for anyone to take, and the taps would be issuing liquid LSD! (ok maybe the latter is a bad idea on second thoughts....

Edit: Please note: Drugs and trance are not related to each other in any way!!!!!!

This whole reception is taking place in the Cydonia region on mars, by the way (not my idea, but I think it is true that it is the ideal place in the Solar System for a psychedelic trance party hehe).

Oh the decor is provided by.... the tribe of frog ! But they also have a large budget, so they have constructed a new kind of holographic fluro projector. You are dancing through strands of light which are swirling in the air infront of you like spider webs.

Sorry I am getting very carried away. This thread rocks! It is like when you are a kid and someone asks you: 'what would you do if you had a million pounds?' Well actually if I had a 1000 billion pounds then I would do the above! (getting to mars costing all the dough=0)

jon you are forgetting the masterful touch of tristan for the end of a party. you cannot play tristan at the beginning of a party.
his 8 hour set back in 99 at the solipse was legendary and every other time i ever seen him all he needs is a fat system and an unlimited set, which really means the end of a party, keeping people on their feet til death do us part.....
btw i just the hallucinogen in dub cd in the post this morning on a nice wet day off in leeds and blahuddhy hell, this is a piece of work. buy it, don't think about it call chaos and get in the post today....

hehe tigga you are right.... what I like at the beginning of a party is progressive tunes... trouble was I already put them in the other room! I was constrained by my own rules arrgh!

...to make your remark about Hallucinogen in Dub ontopic I would say that if I had a 3rd area for chillout then I would have Simon Posford and friends like OTT DJin and playing some of the tunes from this great album... oh and maybe Infinity Project playing live, tunes from the AMAZING old Mystical Experiences album:) ummm and the liquid sound design dooood who was in the chillout area at Boom (uh-oh going on about Boom again... gotta cut that habit out).

Well...wedding party ha? Iam not thinking getting married for the next 5-10 years but if I had a party I guess I would have two stages....A progressive/Tech and a chill out!

Progressive/Tech:

Bitmonx Live
Mapusa Mapusa Dj set
Peter Digital Dj set
Haldolium Live
Delta Vs Opsis Live(that sounds more like Industrial Tech but I love it)
Tolis Q Dj set (I missed my friends music since I moved in U.K-man-mou-u can play as many hours as u want...like those 5h sets in the Private ones...remember?)

Chill out:

Tripple Game
Toires
Doof
Mere Mortals
Deep Dive Corp
Boom Devil

p.s: U said huge budget ha??....No specific order in the line up!

I was fortunate enough to marry my partner on the day of the suberb Astral Phoenix party (5/10/02), where Infected Mushroom & Astrix played live. What a way to see us into married life!

We couldnt have asked for a better line up. The whole place rocked & definitely made it a day to remember.

What a nice thread. You should move it to the Trance section.
Well, 2 rooms of course. One full on and one progressive. And if u have enough budget, make a chillout room too.

Progressive:
BLT
Synchro
Antix
Son Kite
Atmos

Full on:
Pixel & Domestic
Neuromotor
Suria (I liked the c.d too)
KoxBox
The Delta (it's tech-trance, I know)

Chill-out:
Ooze
Etnica
Biosphere (not trance, but great electronic chillout)
Deep Dive
Klangstrahler Projekt

Can I come to the wedding?

Candy, how 'bout some Emou on he chill out room huh?

and some Haldolium on the Progressive room?

that way I'd definitly go there to see you in a wedding gown           the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....
