is hiring a car (better: a small bus) a bad idea? are there any objections from the organisers side? what would be best? is it easy to leave the site during the festival if we were to come with our own vehicle? thanks for some tips...trying to figure how to organise our stay.
do know that it's still a while to go... : )

danicole, if you have money or have a group of friends that want to split the costs and it turns out cheaper then hell yeah, the organizers should be fine with it dont see a problem there, and also you can take more stuff not only a ruck sack which you have to choose well what to take and what not to.

but also do check the prices and other methods of getting there it could turn out to be much more cheaper then renting a mini bus or what ever

well, in the place wich it is (same from 2002), better go by car...trust me...and in the hot summer...almost no trees...very hot....but there is a HUGE lake.............................

Pre-sale tickets : 70 euros until 15 june

15 june until 31 july : 85 euros

I think a lot of people would like to know about the line up before heading of to the travelagency

any idea "boom news" when they gonna let us in on that subject...i'm sure at this point a lot of acts must be confirmed so why they so quite on this one ?

hmmm...the prices are not a surprise at all,if you take a look at what hapenned 2 years ago...
and though the line up is still unknown, i can't understand how come you get these prices at the door....with 100 you could get twice into full moon festival...which has a very interesting line up....
ok ok,i know that u can get tickets for 70euros(which i'm planning to do...) , but even so i find it a bit expensive...

Oh,by the way....while browsing through Digital Structures web site , i found that PETER DIDJITAL is booked to play @ Boom2004

hopefully,this is just the 1rst of a lot of nice surprises heading to Pt in late august...

To all the foreigns who want to came for BOOM:
Once in Portugal we take you by bus to BOOM fest.
You just need to do a reservation for you and your friends say witch city will you land how many places would need. In the end of the party will take you back to oporto or Lisbon. Or you can enjoy the end of Summer at Transit Fest in Spain. Goodtrip bus will be there after BOOM.
