Was wondering how many ppl from Toronto are making the trip to Portugal for Boom'06.

Heya psymates !!! Im so happy to see alot of ppl from U.s. and canada going to our wonderfull event !!!
I Almost for sure will be in portugal for vacation to visit family and have a BOOM with my friends  , So if all goes well i'll see you all there !!!!
Its normally a 5 day event and at the end of august.... but this year it has been expanded from the 3 to 10th of august!!... So it makes it cheaper for hotel fair while in the festival Ur hotel is ur tent 
If ur staying for longer in portugal U will probably wanting to go to Algarve Hot vacation beach spot in southern florida wich is more expensive parts but VERY beutiful. Or U head back where most are flying to Wich is the capital and where i lived Lisbon, Wich is a very nice city to sight see and have a fun night, So count on reserving something around those part's for before/after boom festival And transportation to get to idanha-a-nova(the city of the magical gathering) But note.its pretty far from the festival spot, But Good Mood(org) Will most likely arrange transportation to the festival spot..There is also the official boom afterparty Utopia
So u will have plenty to dance !!!
Airplane tickets as u all must know, the sooner u Mark them the cheaper they are, Since i visit america every year to Nyc/nj area, tickets vary from 700-1300$ Round trip, From california and west coast it will probably be a bit more expensive.
As for airlines i usually go with KLM(dutch airline) since i like making a Stop to visit Amsterdam every year then i head to Portugal/America .. But with a bit of planning U should find a good deal. But remeber The longer you wait The more expensive..
As for algarve and lisbon Try to book something with ur arrangements Soon too, it is touristic and fills up pretty fast in the summer, especially algarve..

And trust me BooM festival is has a vibe and Gathering of our worldwide psychedelic trance Comunity like no other! So it's very worth it
Hope to see you all there if i go in that case, and we MUST make arranjments to meet up there and have acouple of beers and smokeys

I have been talking with a trancer friend of mine who lives in Portugal and she says the Boom website is actually quite informative on providing options for how to get to the there.
I have never been to Portugal or Spain and will definitely make it a point to get there since its right next door!

Nice observation , I obviosly ment southern Portugal
