Calling all producers. The legendary Blue room label is about to be
resurrected. After a long leave of absence Blue Room will be back
with a bang. We are currently looking for demos from producers for

wow...i really missed blue room...is it really true?! i sure hope you guys keep your experimental vibe you had when you vanished (with psy-breaks, dnb, etc.), your stuff was always ahead of its time! looking forward to hearing the new tunes! |

and why where blue room classic releases reissued by other labels during this year e.g. Inpsyde media??

Well, Seems fishy in a way, since Blue Room was a division of a company that was making speakers, and was mostly financed by that money.
could be some SA guy bought the rights to use the name...

hmm, after hearing what X-Dream had to say about Blue Room in their interview on Thump Radio, it's not without mixed feelings that I'm reading this. Plus, this whole things seems rather suspicious in a lot of ways!

this sounds intriguing ¬! Blue Room re-opening. Have they bought the franchise of Robert Trunz ? sounds strange to me. I thought it had all been layed to rest for good. End of an era and all that. Very interested to know what this is all about ? any more info would be very welcome. No rumours have been flying round in the uk that i have heard... keep this posted ! |

Blue room was a sub-division of MELT 2000, a world music label based in South Africa. I think this is written on many Blue Room releases. I'm not sure where B&W Speakers come into the picture. Maybe they financed both, maybe only Blue Room? |

Blueroom has relocated to South Africa, Robert Trunz has closed down the business in the UK and moved to the SA. Many reasons for this but hey SA is where the most tribal drum rhythm comes from....
It is only with time and a hand full of producers that we will be releasing some new material into the market.. tribal trance dance... with a twist as Blueroom have always been known for
..On the speaker side of things - yes Blueroom is assosiated to the speaker side of life - the ever so sexy Minipods that have been on the market since 95' - Robert left B&W speakers to form Blueroom and that is how B&W come into the picture...
So friends no matter what has been said about the label - a rebirth of creation has just started in it's embryo state of the every increasing growth cycle of life...
