Brand new release from Com.pact records is a debut album of two young (both were born in 1985!) but definitely talented guys Kfir Lankry and Didy Ezra from Israel who form together a project called Bizzare Contact. They have already released some tracks on various compilations and slowly became respected full-on artists – the question is: do they continue on this way also with their debut?
The first thing you realize when you are going to buy the cd is very unconventional comix cover art (artists themselves playing for a dancing crowd of people); well, in this point I have to say I am really not conservative in these things and I am big comix fan (for example the cover of Visual Paradox´s album released this year is amazing in my opinion) but this one I really did not like, for me it is maybe too childlike-drawn but there could be some people who enjoy this style. Anyway, the most important thing that we expect from the albums is not pictures but the music itself so let´s have a look how they manage this area:
There are 8 previously unreleased tracks + „Love Simulation“ known from compilation „Pure Imagination“ (Utopia Records) on the CD. Three of them are made in cooperation with other projects, „RT Schock“ + „Run Away“ with Nameless and „Twisted“ with Optivision (all these are IMHO among the best on the CD). The sound production is on a very high level of quality including perfect mastering. The sound is maybe more full-on than it is usual from this label – there is much more classic isratrance influence with catchy melodies and typical rolling bassline. Music for crowds definitely, although I prefer a bit more progressive tunes from Com.pact repertoire I can imagine very well myself dancing and smiling during Bizzare Contact´s live act.
Taken from a complex point of view, it is a really nice album that should work very well on the dancefloor and it is definitely „must have“ CD for all full-on isratrance lovers. One important thing that I would point out is the uniformity of the album, I´d expect more diversity among the tracks (maybe chill-out track, some experiment in a bit different style, live edit or whatever).

totally forgot, "trancy" is crazy swiss slang.. to me the album is a bit too morning style sometimes, 'cause the melodies are takin' overhand too much.
