I think in fact this maybe good for controlling GMO's.
If you discover that the food you bought has GMO you can trace the producer.
If you are doing nothing wrong with the food you're growing and selling which is the problem? also as detox styates you must be selling above 500,000.
That being said: KILL MONSANTO!!!

It would criminalize seed saving turning backyard gardeners who save heirloom seeds into common criminals. This is obviously designed to give corporations like Monsanto a monopoly over seeds.
It would create an unreasonable paperwork burden that would put small food producers out of business, resulting in more power over the food supply shifting to large multinational corporations.

Even if you sell under 500,000 you still need to be able to trace EVERYTHING, I mean your fertiliser, the seeds, the soil, everything.
I am worried about small farmers markets and co-ops. Where I live, here in Byron Bay, australia, I get all of my food from local growers, who grow on small acre patches and make a little bit of money here and there. If this bill passed here, that would be a thing of the past.

And login, a lot of the food you eat now is full of G.M.O, being able to trace it won't do anything.
Laws need to be made that force manufacturers and growers to label when they have genetically modified foods in their products, as nowhere in the world is that law at the moment.

No, it's not. First cause I buy almost all my food at the organic market and second because in my country they are not still aproved for consumption.

I was under the impression that in mexico gm food is allowed but has to be labelled that it is genetically modified?
Even that is very forward thinking though, here in Australia we have no laws regarding food labelling and g.m foods, we don't know what we are eating!
