big festivals in japan this summer???

i'm from Australia and i'm going to be in Japan this June, July and August. I was wondering what the big festivals are this summer. Can anyone tell me? I've heard only good things about parties in Japan. Can't wait!!!!!! |

Solstice throws a Mount Fuji festival, check their website at www.solstice23.com
it wuill be a HUGE party though, but I figure you are coming from far so this is what you want to see. You will be surprised though, so brace yourself! |

cheers spliffnik. i just checked the solstice website and there's nothing as yet about mt fuji...perhaps a little too early. Have you heard anything about this years event? lineup etc. |

According to the Spun Rec website, GMS is scheduled to play at the Solstice festival for either July 17-18 or 24-25. Looks like the Solstice crew hasn`t decided for sure either but you`ll probably know for sure soon enough. |

Best of lucks for the festivals hanging around Japan tjhis year...i personaly would like very much to go there but this is the Boom Festival year!

This is the VQ crew here to anounce that the Gathering will be held as allways in september, on the weekend of the 17 all the info and line up will be on the new website soon!

I saw this week in Japanzine (issued in 2003 July) that Solstice wasn't held in 2003 because they want to move their festival to another direction in the 2004 gathering. I just got curious of what they meant with that. Anyone out there knows something about this?

There is an Arcadia Festival on Aug14-16...
some pretty interesting french big names in there.....

yeah the arcadia party will be the best of the "big three" for sure CPU,sirius isness, eskimo,etc, I think that they also added Beat Hackers and Tsuyoshi to the lineup but I am not postitive..If you want any kind of a "trance" experience skip the VQ Gathering however IMHO. |
