Well, because Bhangra is a niche, it might not fall into the "Asian Massive" category.
But Asian Massive tends to use East Indian Classical (ala RAvi Shankar etc...) mixed with more progressive electronic breaks..

oh yeah, FUKWAR
Bombay Beats:
Gotta check it out! Thanks Vector_O btw...I just finished 10 - 100 bpm Bhnagra remixes for a show I did in SF, I'll let you know when I post them up, you might dig them.

bhangra in dance music?
the idea is sounds so lame to me at first itself!!! what do want people singing chandigarh kare aashiqui while they are dancing on 120-140 bpm!!!
bhangra itself is a very refined dance form and it has sadly been mixed in hip-hop tunes.. making it sound like i don't what!!!
bhangra requires a 'dhol' which acts as both bass and beat to which you dance!!!
your curiosity stupified you this time coz bhangra fusion with dance music is like chicken with oranges!!! |

I kinda like the sound of those dhols, but hate the punjabi bangra songs! they suck!
Nothing is said that has not been said before. |

Ive heard a lot of Bhangra beats being played at Chillout stages.
Check Badmarsh&Shri,Nitin Sawheni,Bobby Fricton & Nehal, Shiva Sound System and Tabla Beat Science. Great bhangra inflences there.
