trancoso smells cocaine and foreigners tryin to live in the paradise.. its a place with a very bad energy nowadays because of those foregners and that cocaine market....
the foregners brought the whole city from the natives and helpt to feed that drug dealing market.... and the natives enchanted with the money gave away everything...
and now the money of the natives have ended as much as the money of those foregners that brought the whole city ( coz they were too busy fuckin up their minds and couldnt handle their bussines )
so now u have foregners AND natives abusin tourism and turists....
violence almost everyday ( in the summer time )cases of stealing almost every day, and the most fucked up stories for instance people givin "cupS" of acid to girls without tellin them so they can abuse them... etc etc etc
if u like that junky anarchy without respect energy go ahead..u are going to love it... othwesie stay away.. unless u are going there to visist the beaches and stay on ur own without get envolved in the comunity ( yes its possible )...but then it would be not a global comunity...
its a very beutiful and relaxin place to visit with a partner etc..but to get envolved in the comunity very bad ideia..unless u are one of those "BAD PIRATES"

Hi my friend, what a shame to heard that, I was there many years ago but I see how the places change with the time...
I hear by the way the Vale do Capao but I never have been there.
Is a shame because that what you say is happening everywhere in the world, in small paradise places where tourist arrive without any respect for the natives and for theirselves.
