I use zebra alooooot in synthesis but gtta say im not super happy with its fm synthesis.
So id say albino and serum!!.           .

Aalto and Hydra fm is pure pitch LFO????

this is being tuff...im not finding nothing simple for FM synthesis like my nord lead2x...but its possible to have two osc with fm on it           https://soundcloud.com/ancientaliengoa

Yeah, just change the waveform on the FMO section. And feed some nice input into it! Find the sweet spots and let me know

try free synth1 i think it should do the trick.

waldorf largo, reaktor... in fact we could list most synth with fm,these can all do usefull sound...

latelty i have installed back synth1 and was surprised by the sound for a old free plug, there is tons of bank for it making it great to learn more about synthetis as the nord architecture is imo very easy to use.

sometiems when i have no idea what new sound i could try and run in circle..i just browse the presets in synth1 when i m on a cool sound i check out how it s made and redo something similar elswhere depending what i m after.. as it's not a new synth , banks are not full of crappy edm patch..but lot of oldschool nordish stuff that can be quite cool reworked or not
