hey ... don't get me wrong..

tune raider is cool too!

also.. look out for our own dragongurl... who seems to be slaving away in her home studio figuring out the workings of reason....

are we in store for a female producer take-over?

          Mind my mind.

*Blushes all the way round*

Wow, thanks Apsydrop!! I'm glad that you feel I have the skills to pull of such a huge task Yup, I'm slaving away at trying to make my own tunes. Then I just have to get someone to teach me to DJ as well. I've already had 3 offers! Stressful to say the least!

And what about Cooks!!! She is one amazing DJ as well Go Girls!!!

Tracy from Nano is also really good. There are virtually no female DJ's gigging in the Cape Town scene that I know of. Where are you?

When I was doing the radio show last year...
I tried my utmost to get as many female dj's on the show but to no avail.... only managed to get three of them on air.

i think they may be really shy?

although tune raider ain't shy at all!

and yeah .Dragongurl. listen to the wise gem-37... dj'ing isn't the hardest thing to do in the world.... being a REALLY GOOD DJ is an art though.... but general mixing is really easy... shit.. if I can do it I'm sure that anybody else can! Don't worry to much about dj'ing.. i'm really interested in hearing what you can create from within yourself and put into digital format for the trancers to have a good stomp on the dance floor!

Peace!

don't worry about being "good"... I think that some people are way to focused on being "better" or being "the best" at something that they lose that inner drive and love of just doing what they love.

it's all about expressing yourself... whether it be djing or producing music...

i think the greatest artists in history weren't out to be "the best" ... they were just people who were writing amazing music...

          Mind my mind.
