come on ppl mexico rules!!  u must came to a party here huehuehueuh!
uhmmm lets evaluate my country
1: killer party locations
well dudes, what can i say, mexico is fully of nice locations, u can find rivers, mountains, amazing forests, killah beaches like cancun, or acapulco, everywhere around here u can find a nice place to made a party!  just come and check out!
2: insane parties all the time
uhmmm scene in mexico grew up very fast, we have partys all the weekends! maybe the partys are going commercial, but u can enjoy nice international acts everytime! huehue
3: new music evolving from the country
uhehu this is a nice point, as scene grew up fast, mexican artists do also!! some are know by the global scene, Mexican Trance Mafia, Barak, Sharigrama, Ecliptic, Xibalbá, Smugh, Total Sickness, Indica, Teen sluts, for telling a some are going killah! nice quality in their work! keep it up amigos!!!!!
4: good Djs
Dj'ing is going nice with the ppl here hehehueuhe, we have a very talented kids here! and some ones are signed now with very important labels from other countries, Vazik (spiritzone records), Shove (Alchemy records) Flix (Nervine records), and any city in our country have more! for telling some of the best are, Dende (Psyclon Records), Geza, Nino (from guadalajara), kechu, and loads! trully u will enjoy the party with local djs here huhehuhu  keep trance on cabrones amigos!
5: Very little problem with the Authorities
uhmmm at last 4 years i have been in partys, i've never seen any police invervention on partys, its safetly when party organizers have permissions and all this stuff, doing illegal partys here is a big problem, and even with permitions, sometimes politics ruin it all! 
6: good labels/record cos.
Well well, mexico is going nicer in this point, we have some nice labels that u maybe know, first one and most important, Maia Records. www.maia.com.mx then are coming other nice labels as Psyclon records, www.psyclon.net, and im sure Sound of earth will be one of the best labels also as artist pool place  keep it up!!!
7: and a very good psy culture (people)
come on brothers! this is our wrong point, most of ppl in mexico dont know nothing about psyculture!  why? why our partys are bunched by those orcs???
well hope u like it hehehe!
and next time u wanna go to party think in mexico first!!!!

Hey Jello! thanx for putting me in the best acts list.... hahaha
as you said...
yes, The Mexican scene still growing very fast, but this really worries me because some people that don´t know the real intention of the trance, go to the parties, but that´s not all. they only goes there to get dope and they're not really interested on the music or the party...That´s very sad.
By another way, mexican music still growing very fast. Now in 2004 we have excelents artists , acts that have been recognized at the global scene
and they have the quality of any other trance act around the world.. as xibalbá, ecliptic (they´re my two favourites) and many others
there's a lot of good things i can say about mexico... but a lot of bad things too...
definitely one of the biggest trance scenes in the world

I agree on most here, except this part....remember the fact that my buddy Arturo (Maia Rec.) was in jail for around a week when they busted his ass on their own labelparty....and I'm sure there's more examples like this. For the rest I can only add that Holland is probably the LAST best country on earth for Psytrance.....with venues closing at 4-5 @ night, except the squatparties or other illegal ones, which don't happen to much though, next to that a very devided egocentered scene of people that are sabotaging eachother's parties more than supporting....maybe it's time I leave this place.... Mexico sounds very appealing !!  Mind Funk Records

Jello nice info about Mexico's scene
perhaps for my next vacation i may head to mexico since ive heard so much bout it......

shame on me! how can i miss this one... poor arturo busted, but it was politic's again, this party was in my place, where politics are the last ppl who want a party in mexico... they are banned from this beautiful place.. |
