Hi
Please give me your favourite melodies in ambient / chill out tracks! I'm looking for really clear melodies that really difine the whole track! Examples:
Vibrasphere - The Big Sleep
Healer - As the Day Begins
Chi-A.D. - Tranquillicy
Dub Trees - Cobalt Waterfall

Theres a track on Total Eclipses Violent Relaxation LP with a great upfront melody ...just cant remember the name!

There were lot of great artists in all time periods.
Chopin comes to mind, I also agree on Philip Glass and Brian Eno.
Chill out is a big genre, are we talking about general chill, or rather psychedelic.
Ambient generally tends to be less clear in descriptions.
