Yeah, I agree, Vangelis - Oceanic is an excellent album! Also, The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences and (i'm suprised no one has mentioned it) the outstandig Mysteri Of The Yeti (Part I & II). From more recent times i'd say Myosotis and Life Is... and of course the fabulous Messenger!!! |

In my opinion the best chill out/ambient Compilations are Café del Mar and Space Night. Does anybody know Aurel Float or the Sushi Club? Very good Ambient music!! |

Vangelis? check out soundtracks for: "Blade Runner", "1492" etc.
Kitaro is a japanese who locks himself in a mountain-based studio for a whole year, working on an album. they are very much alike, but kitaro is much more psychedelic, if you ask me, what with all the bells, sirens and nature-sounds involved. |
