I know the guys coming to organize that with best intensions, but last year, I've heard some very bad feedbacks. It was too commercial and too public. Surely, not a best vibes ... but very relaxating for those who new how to ignore all the bad stuff.

and i can to say last year was a good festival with son kite live and ppl with corn in the hands while a dancing..

well
i've been to the location, and i can tell u that because of problems around the trance area last year the electronic stage has a lower profile this year (that's y they call it "disco beresheet" and not "trance area")
u cannot expect a festival like that not 2 b a comercial and crowded.
the "disco" (electronic stage) gonna pump 24 hours around the clock and the space is orgenized more or less like a true nature party. a bit away from the rest of the balagan........
the only act from abroad is gonna b "The Channel One soundsystem" - and these jamaikan dudes look interesting.
anywayz, we (e.om) will be there.
hope to c u kickin' at our gig!!!
2nd day (saturday) - 01:00 nighttime.

i was there last year and i recomend to all of you who are too tired from overseas festivals or just want to relax to come and see what israel organizers got to offer.
there is so much friendly people there that i meet in partys and around, shure the ethno/bio/alternative things around is very nice.
now i see from what ozric@e.om
wrote that even the "disco" concept some great live trance "made in israel" can be expected
so all needed to fill the missing is a small party in the same area, and we all fixed.

out of the 3 major Festivals in Israel (Boombamela, Shantipi, Beresheet), Beresheet is definately the best... although it has become too commercial lately (it's now sponsored by Heiniken). Anway, Beresheet is nice for chillin', but it's nothing special for goa-heads. Although Violet Vision should be nice, and E.om live act is really good, so it might be interesting

i think u forget that its a festival u talking about 
how can it be not commercial
i never heard about shushu festivals
its a 3 days event that half of the country comes to chill at
even if there was no "dance" stage its worth to go there
and sure its spetial for goa-heads

5Meo-Geo> A festival can be non-commercial & even hush-hush. Heared Of "Segol" festival? I went there this year and it was great. It was a great event, non-comercialized, with beutiful people and great music (60's rock, reggea, chill-out). Believe me, most people haven't even heared of this festival...
And btw, I remember going to Beresheet 3 years ago, and it was way less comercial, with alot more trance music and good people...

Yeah!
_Wonderful_ ppl and vibe all over the festival ; Full on and goa was played most of the time in the "disco" area.
Violet Vision didn't perform, their show was cancelled at the very last moment, but hell, it was still a great place to spend rosh hashana.
Music-wise, it wasn't as good as last year's Beresheet, but the ppl were totally lovely, it was worth coming if only to see all the smiles

my sister was there and she had a great time but not near the disco stage
this is bad news that Violet Vision cancelled at the very last moment...

it was the best way for me and my friends to open this new year in a holystic atmosphere.
electronic dance music never took big part in this festival, but shure e.om apearance was a good example for what we are waiting for next year in bigger amounts, some "good vibe" progressive artist's.
it just what this young and hippi croud desserve, good music with less agression and more lovely vibes that leaving you smile when you go to bad.

it was a great festival, i had a really good time all the time, our little camp was in the holystic area so we had our quiet most of the time and enough music when we wanted it, there were lots of people, good people, freaky, free, beautiful people.
a lot of interesting things to do,
lots of love and smoke in the air, amazing atmosphere of freedom and Hare Krishna people gave free food
thanks to all the friends who spent this time with me, it was great being with you all

i just figured sth funny, i sent two cups to check the hare krishna stand, and later i found them at the vipasana stand as well...
they told me they allready "flying" only from looking on the people around.
