So guys...It was as good as it can get!!!
First for all I want to say that the place is
amazing :)
Alot of "arsim" & "shimonim" can be seen at 2 parties:
* Infected mushroom
* Astral projection

I came down from my tent to see the astral projection party...
I been there for 10 minutes and I went back to
my tent because the music was sucks!!!

Joti - Amazing set...And Son-Kit also:)

Except all the "shimonim":) there were so many
good and loving people...amazing expirience:)

The showers were for man & women in one room (:))
Drugs - You have never smoked hashish from Moroko
as good as this one I had:):):)

See you next yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeear!

All right, I got to the festival at monday, 10PM, met up with a few friends there, and checked out the listing for the night.

After a short time, I found out that Joti was going up at 3AM. I danced there a bit, and there was some pretty decent progressive night music (the DJ was someone from Tsunami records I think), and then Joti started playing.

And he had a LOT to offer everyone. Deep and powerful grooves exploding from each of his tracks, and even though there were too much parts that let me cool down between the peaks (I'm a power freak at night), there was strong and warm energies from each of his tracks.

BUT...

Even though it could have been much worse (I've been to worse parties in this sense), there were a lot of bad  faces that cut me off from the general vibe from the music every now and again, not giving me a good half hour to concentrate purely on the music.

Sorry for all you guys that want a review for Infected Mushroom... I just went to sleep then (wasn't in the mood for morning music, and it was a pretty big day up to then).

I woke up due to the INTENSE heat of the day, and spent most of the day wandering aimlessly to Didj shops, Chai Shops, and stumbled around to Gula K's chillout set (it was very nice, very interesting overall, which I appreciate greatly), but wasn't my cup of chillout tea at the time, and since I brought some music with me, I moved on to hear something else with a (by then not so) cold beer. Later I met people I knew around there and so on, having a generally good day, and when it got cold enough, I went to sleep a bit.

When I woke up, I went to the dancefloor (at around 8:30-9:30 PM, I didn't care much at the time). I found out that people were already digging to whoever's set (I don't know who played), but it was pretty decent... I wasn't already in the Karahana for starting to party, still too tired and drained.

I went to sleep again a bit before midnight, because I generally knew that Astral would attract a lot of faces from last night I didn't want to see again, added to the fact that I haven't been a huge Astral fan for quite a while (even though it was a nice thing that a trance act was in the center stage and not some lameass rapper, for instance).

I woke up at 3:00 AM, ready for some real action, since I decided 808 state wouldn't be healthy for the brain (even though the music would probably chase away shimonim), I got ready for Son Kite.

Needless to say, Son Kite gave a blasting party set, and everyone was digging like there was gold under us :). DJ Dede gave a harsh and boring morning set, nothing exciting or inspiring in particular, but very full-on, even though that wasn't what I wanted at the early morning, it was exactly what I would have expected from Dede.

To sum it all up, there were a lot of good people, the setup wasn't brilliant, but it was good, there was WAY too much light in the stagefront (lets admit it, at night, all you need is 1 DJ, 2 turntables, 2 CDJs, a mixer, a sound system and a powerful flicker), which distracted me a bit from the groove I was getting into at some times, the music was great, there were a few bad faces around, but not as bad as I expected from a fully advertised festival.

Another nice thing to see was some younger faces, kids at the age of 15-16 dancing as well, because as sad as it is, kids are denied a LOT of fun when not allowed to party to trance music (this has NOTHING to do with drugs, we all know that you can fully enjoy a party without any), and it gave a real feel that maybe one day, the spirit that we get at these occasions, even though overcrowded, EXTREMELY commercial (some free tea and chai in a chillout area next to the party would have helped calm a LOT of nerves, and I'm sure peopole would feel better knowing that, people just want to chill out from a party, it should be free for all), it was a good experience.

See you there next year!

Asaf.

I came fore Son Kite, and I got Son Kite like it should be! and it was awesome!

I came nothing but the music, and I enjoyed the music.

Most of the ppl at the Trance stage was horrible, loads of shimons & arabs, it was horrible, the rest of the festival had beautiful ppl, but all the shimons & arabs got centerd at the trance stage, that was a big bummer...

Anyways, the sound system had problems, actually, the power went off there for 3-4 times, ppl threw stones at the stage... then when Son Kite went up, there was no bass, and actually then they threw the rocks i think... while the power was off there, and then, they got everything set, and Son Kite played!
Full energy stomping progressive music!
haaaaa... It was the best..
Seb & Marcus are really nice ppl, I talked to them a lot...
Dj Dede is so professinal, I wasn't in the mood to dance much, but i just set and heard his set, and my goodness i didn't feel the tracks changing, very accurate beatmixing, same goes out to DJ Borris, my man, who played earlier tonight, gave Minimal sound, his beat mixing was not from this world, 2 thumbs up Borris!

All in All, I came for the music, and i Enjoyed it.

Asaf, you've probably seen me :). I was the 15 years old spiked red-head, dancin' with a couple of friends.

I arrived at the festival in tuesday, especially for Son kite and Astral (and for the Isratrance meeting, which didn't took place). As you ppl mentioned before, the unfriendly ppl were there, but they weren't TOO disturbing IMO. Astral gave a good set, although i didn't like at all their new stuff they played at the beginning. From let there be light and on... well, that was amazing. The ppl there weren't horrible at all, as oppose to the sound, which was. There was far too much bass which kinda ruined the higher-toned sounds.
Oh well.

I was also at Son kite's set and Borris' set, which i enjoyed a lot.

Overall, Beresheet was great - It was one of the only places (if not the only, currently) that ppl in my age can dance to psy-trance. The music was good and the general experience was positive.

Have an extremely good shana

Hi guys, i just got back home and its lovely to see ur thoughts are the same as mine. Asaf it was great meeting you and its nice to see you got back home safely =) Borris, nice meeting yuo too, and a very nice set (ive had a bit of a trouble to coordinate between ur set and the "shotei ahnevuha" (which gave a brilliant preformance btw) but i managed :).

Astral projection's set was obvious, but it was still nice to hear some old classics on a very powerfull sound system (which in my opinion had a good, equalized balance.

Son Kite as expected, and although of the long power-shut down in the middle of their set gave an AMAZING Live set with some of their classics such as Mirage which were tweaked magnificly and gave a whole new feeling to the track, Too bad some ppl ruined the atmosphere by shouting stuff like "deedrah" "sim deedrah!" in the middle of the set.

Overall a spot of PLUR in our currently unwanted global reality (not hearing theh news for 3 days, and still not wanting to hearem =)

See you next Year! Shana Tova!

P.S. Pictures will be posted soon.

I was with PsyTom at Beresheet.. It was all pretty awesome.. I saw DJ Borris' set and it was pretty awesome... Astral was pretty cool as well, as expected. We got right to the front, right next to the stage, with the speaker system about  4 meters away from us, and I could actually feel my cloth shaking like hell. The bass was so deep and boomy. After about 10 minutes though I decided to get back and watch the show from my tent (I had a clear view of the center stage from there), and the music sounded very nice and balanced from there. I guess that area near the stage is strictly for bass freaks.

It was a really nice experince, the first time I ever danced to trance, and I had a really nice time overall.

I dont know about you people, but I enjoyed bere-shit, besides the HEAVY commercializing part... things were good. Nice peple, nice tents, nice breasts taking a shower with me and 10 other men... BUT, what a lack in good trance... Son kite, were GREAT, great sounds but I noticed ALL of their tracks are WAY too monotonic (same bassline, same repeating-loops) not my style!!!
Astral sucks, I just cant be nice about them people anymore, with all RESPECT, they SUCK big balls of fire, bring arsim to their shows, and play OLD RETRO tracks that makes me puke.
Borris, Borris is the man, from the GoodKarma cruise, to the good festivals, he brings on the night, GREAT SCANDO-SOUNDS, things & genres I have not heard before. good job boris, Dede was great too, he plays what I refer to as "pop-trance" , all the catchy tunes, digging sounds, nothing experimental, nothing that makes you wonder... but all it takes to get your ass up (even if you haven't slept 2 nights in a row) and DIG.

speaking of being experimental...not really related, but still, I've heard a track in bereshit that had a ripped bassline from the eurythmics - sweet dreams...
he who knows more, is welcome to share!
peace.

Psytom! I remember seeing you around the party stage a few times....

I was there with a blue checkered sharwall digging like a madman most of the time :)

After being at the age of 15-16 and knowing that I'm too young for any real party at the time, I just think it's beautiful that everyone was there.

And people keep on talking about Son Kite here while Joti really put on a much more interesting set IMO.
