From what I've heard....Lost Baba and The Bastard are gonna totally blow your minds....the new tracks are sounding great!! should be a killer party...Best of luck to the Psytopia Collective!!!  -be prepared!

yes indeed ive heard some of it, all though they been working hard and making everything sound better and best thing is they will be creative when they break out there equipment and do a true live show, defintely a show worth seeing this summer

Thank you to each and every one of you who attended Be Prepared! Very special thanks to TOUCH Samadhi's Alex (The Bastard), Kri (Lost Baba), Shane (The Devotee), and all of our Texas Dj's, Eckoe, Skywise, Wizard of Ozra, Force Majeure, and our Chill Area Musicians, Michael Hale (Gift Culture), Pete (Psychonautic Soundsystem)!
I appreciate all of our volunteers and staff who helped promote, set-up, clean-up, clearing paths in the forest, rakeing & stakeing, monitoring the parking area, security, checking people in at the front table, investing time, energy, money, and sweat to see that this event was a great success!
~ Miki Naik + Jeff & Adrienne of Shiva Shakti, Miki's friends, Bhaskar(?) Asim (?), Nick Evertson of 1910, Ms. Isabella, Brian of Seneca, Amber, Chris King, Greg, Gabe, Kyle, & Big Alex from New Guild, Ivelina, Davey, Zak, Richard, Seth Osman, Roberto of Kagdilla, Aaron & Ashley for the mainstage soundsystem and the veggie burgers, tasty cookies, beverages and treats!, Jut for the monitor used in the mainstage and the entire chill area soundsystem!, Arashi for the use of the 3rd generator so the blacklights would'nt dim... Mike & Cindy & PeeWee & Brian of Cindy's Gone Hog Wild for the use of their land and the respect, support and blessings!, Rick of Bastrop who loaned us his weed wacker, rakes, shovels, clippers, and most importantly his Van! and... last but not least, Mother Nature for her willingness to allow us a clear and beautiful evening and extraordinary sunrise morning!

thank you guys for putting so much into this event. The Devotee's artwork is out of this world, Shane is one talented individual with the paintbrushes. Really looking forward to him coming back and possibly seeing him do some stuff down in Mexico. hopefully we can make it to Illinois to see what he does in the cave... Lost Baba and The Bastard played a good set, very percussive and mental stuff at first and leading to some more bassline and dancefloor oriented stuff. The crowd was really enjoying themselves. Kri's set for the morning was rockin too. The people were dancing there asses off.
can't wait to see everyone tonight at our place for some movin and groovin. fantastic experience this weekend brought to us by the Psytopia collective, can't wait for the next!

The name of this event dawned on me as soon as i walked into this event. Wow, i totally wasn't prepared for the deco and the location saturday night - Psytopia and The Devotee took it to a whole new level. Beautiful music and beautiful people completed a perfect event.
I've had this big smile and a heady sense of well-being since i woke up after a long slumber - a feeling that comes either after mindblowing sex or a dose of extended spiritual trance dance, and i was too busy dancing to get laid saturday night.
Thanks to all who put this together - Mark, Polaris, Pete and everyone else at Psytopia - i'm glad to be a part of the community. See you all at GOW next weekend. |
