i didnt hear the tracks..so i dont know who is right..
but its very simple..
if they (Aum) made one single sound in the track they deserve..credit or some kind of payment..
u can call a Copyrights lawyer if u guys really wanna dig into it..

Hello all. This is Alex and Artem from TimeZero project (www.myspace.com/timezeromusic). We can not believe! This is a full idiocy!!!! Track "Digital Tribe - Digital Strangers" in VA - Breaking News (Magma rec) is our remix on track Digital Tribe - Digital Strangers. WE SO THOUGHT! Later Shlomi has offered release this track as not as remix but versus track. Vs with DT and Timezero. We did not hear not one word about Aum Project. Shlomi has sent us this project and has said that this Digital Tribe track. In project archive was this http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/3064/digitstrangas4.jpg If you want we also post a sound examples. Also this track post much time ago on our myspace. As we understand this project from Aum???  DT has entered new type of the business - music franchise! (and besides not quite legal). We do not want money or what that else BUT we practically become participial to machinations and we declare that we not have not any relations beside this scandal! On our sets and live we played track Dt vs Aum vs Timezero - Digital Strangers but not Digital Tribe - Digital Strangers! We are put in uncomfortable situation - peoples listen this track in our sets and now they see it on disk as Digital Tribe - Digital Strangers. But original is Aum!!! Very hard situation.... Much ask Aum Project to contact with us for to analyse with this situation! We pm to Aum isratrance acount but not have answer.I think Slomi its my good friend and me much want to get comments from he.

TimeZero and me must talk about the way of work from Digital Tribe.

hi guys, i think these guys r not the only guys that make this stuff, there r lots of artists that steal copyrights and make fake live sets..
im not to much time in the industry (i mean profetional) but i saw lots of artists goin down coz of their lies.
i think it will b a good lesson for u Digital and ull learn and move up after this fall.

Yea... Lie after Lie is bringing em down.
Best thing would be to apologize to those who were betrayed and Im sure EVERYONE will move on.
Anyways its not my call in the end...

Is it illegal for artists to include other artists music in their LIVE acts or DJ sets without prior permission of the artist???
In that case tomorrow if I play at a local club with original CD´s, do I have to take permission ? is that what you meant ?

I think he means artist that play "live" and then have tracks from other artist in there live act. But if you have the original cd's it's not illigal to play at party's in a dj set. |

very professional... wtf is wrong with you?
Specially after someone in a very polite way, proved that these "artists" stole the ideas from other peoples hard work, without sharing the credit, they should be ashamed of themselves, probably that's not even the case.
If they wanted they could just make another track, simple, and leave this one, or else, if they really wanted this one released they MUST give proper credit for everyone envolved, it doesent matter if its Talamasca or the dude next door, and if not they should be exposed as cheaters, next time they will think twice on doing another stunt like this one...
