Excellent movie for me!!!
The darkest story of Batman!
I am a comic collector and i can say that from all the comic storylines which are hundreds all these decades that Batman exist, "The Dark Knight Returns" from Frank Miller is surely the darkest story ever written.
The dark knight movie managed to catch the spirit of the comic book.
In this direction the movie is succesful.
We will never see a darker story from DC because it doesn't exist any other more darker than this...
It is also obvious that the actors where REALY effected (in the movie and in their true life) by the heavy anti-hero, chaotic, corrupted atmosphere that Frank Miller's story emerged.
After this it looks like that all the other Batman movies are only for kids...
Conclusion: A diamond that will show it's quality in the future!

Watched it for second time last night with a friend of mine who insisted on seeing it and i still believe that there is nothing special in this movie apart its technical aspects.No wonder with all those millions invested on it.
Its a pity for Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman who appeared for some minutes in this movie.
By the way i cant understand why people compare Jack Nicholson's Joker with this one.
P.S 1 Arent female lead acts supposed to be beautiful?
P.S 2 Damn 150 minutes is way too long for a Batman movie. Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!! |

Well, got the Blue Ray of the movie a week ago(The Special Edition obviously) and damn, this movie is sooo good. Instant classic. Gonna get as much repeats here as The Matrix, Blade Runner and Debbie Does Dallas
