im tryng to reach this kind of low octave bassline....

i tried sylenth, alien 303, abl2, tal-bassline...but c1 seems to high pitch and c0 too low and distortioned...

i really have no clue about what to do...what im missing ?is there a pitch/octave problem at live 9?

thanks alot...sorry for noobish post but im getting mad here...           https://soundcloud.com/ancientaliengoa

There is no problem with octaves in ableton, so it's about synthesis and processing

I don't producing dark but i thinking that is triangle + sine (dual oscilator) waves on the synth + very low pass filter with some resonance.

@lunarbeats

A combination of those two waveforms (tri + sine) will NOT provide enough harmonics. You're better of using a sawtooth, you can reserve those for a sub oscillator or layer if you feel like it - precisely due to the lack of higher harmonics in these waveforms, makes it easy to blend with the rest of the signal.

There's nothing special (as in different) about a dark psy bass sound. Changing BPM means there's got to be some adjustment in the envelopes, they should respond quicker and you should pay attention to see if there's any overlap of the notes and the notes with the Kick, 'cause of that. A simple sawtooth patch, with an envelope or two controlling the filter, carefully tweaked amp envelope should do the job just fine. If not, keep on tweaking.

What really helped me was this - while I tend to go overboard with the EQ and fx this video puts things into perspective. http://www.pyramind.com/training/blog/2014/05/05/elite-session-with-mubali-video-recap
