Basslines can be the hardest thing in a track..
U can use almost ever monophonic synth for that.
I think that the good thing to do is to make something that sounds like a bass on the synth, than open EQ and Inserts and start to gice a soul to the bass and it can be :
1.good eq from 100 Hz
2.u can take the 400-500 hz up
3. play with pitch of the synth on the way u play.
4.there are some plugins that give the bassline the sound of a fat rounded bass.
and most of all - DONT BREAK UP!
everyone are into that.
