Come join the psychedelic sorcerors in a trancedance to celebrate six years since the birth of Baraka.
The coven will undergo extensive fluorofication and the two rooms will provide a psychedelic feast of aural sonication and visual stimulation for your body and soul.
The chillout will be equipped with comfy seating and the usual free refreshments: chai, flapjacks, fruit, biscuits [+/-choc ], hubbly bubbly pipes and who knows what other surprises..........
£5 b4 11pm £7 after. Night runs till 3am.
24 hour bus services operate between London and Oxford (stop 5 min walk from club)

tsc!! can't make it to this one. would be cool to see EVP playing again and seeing tom (havent seen u playing for a while mate)

Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances OTT cannot join us at the 6th birthday, but he should be playing at a Baraka party in the not too distant future.
He will be replaced in the chillout by a pile of chocolate biscuits...... sorry, I meant Tripowski |

What a wicked party. I've never seen so many people dancing in the chillout, and the main room was rocking.

What a party...
A group of us from london travelled up for this one...
Have to admit, I had a hard time convincing a group of di-hard squat party goers to attend this one...
This was not like any other psy-trance night that I've been to. It had a certain school disco, club tropicana, whirly-gig, eighties vibe going on-in a really good way;-)
I remember thinking " should of brought my party poppers!"
I was a little bit disappointed when tom did not play his belting kate bush remix but as always played a killer set!!! The best I'd ever heard from tom...Well worth the £4.50 megabus...
There was such an interesting and different crowd of people... I especially enjoyed chatting to a random goth, who claimed to hate hippies and psy-trance but was making full use of the late licience, may I add the late licience was till 3 (!) we were deceived and the londoners inconsolable...
Their little eyes lit up when we were promised an after party. In much anticipated excitement we made our way to an address only to be told we were not welcome:( So we made our way back to the happy people of crotch cresent... Dan, Vikki and everyone at crotch cresent, if you log on... thanks so much for your wonderful hospitality before and after the party;-) Our london doors are always open with loadsa love and cups of tea...xxx
After crotch cresent we ended up in bonar rd (seriously!)
We all had a lovely time! It was good to get out of london for a change!
Good to see Sean and Henry, forgot you guys were oxfordians;-)

An excellent party all round it seems, thanks to everyone for the great feedback! Had a wicked time myself too, much fun had on the decks and off ;-)
Millie, I'm glad you Londoners enjoyed yourselves. The house you turned up to did indeed contain a few members of the Baraka crew (myself included) however it also contained some sleeping 'non-psy' housemates. We had not said to anyone that there was to be an afterparty, we were all knackered and just wanted to chill with a few good friends, so I hope you understand we weren't that keen on having loads of people we didn't know wandering round the place after we'd all gone to bed. I'm sorry someone misinformed you. |
