about balloons.... this has been discussed before many times. feel free to write ballons under the search and see 10 pages of responses about the topic. as for me, i think they are horrible and attract not so nice people.

Look dude, it might not have been a pleasant sight, but these balloon sellers are damn stubborn!
I am sure they talked to them nice once and they kept on trying to sell it all the times and these guys dont understand verbal communication, only physical ..so I guess that what needs to be done.

I don't get how baloons are bad for parties...
Don't blame the substance, blame the people for god's sake!
I really enjoy a couple baloons, i really do.
I take off, as i said before, go stand somewhere nice with my friend and we trip each other out when we both take a baloon. It's not fun for me to take them on the dancefloor, but like that, it's awesome!
I don't get why people hate the baloons, just hate the guys who do them where it bothers others! |

IMO, balons are bad for parties for all the reasons that my friend Tsabi said before, and there is no way we can look at the balons and the people selling them as two different things.
Of course the people selling the balons will not be party people - they are there only to make money. they have nothing to do with the vibe of the party, the music, or the people who came to enjoy (forget PLUR) - the only reason that they're there is that Laughing Gas is very easy to come by (and very cheaply, especially if you're "connected", as is a good description for the vendors..), and it's a very good business opportunity for them - why not buy a very cheap big balon of gas, and sell little balons to the party people who are drugged-up/naive/curious, and wouldn't care what they're taking or its price (to the pocket and the body...)???
Of course, it's not only one "smart" guy doing this, so there's many dealers coming to the party, fighting over turf, getting in fights with the party organizers, and since we know exactly what type of people are selling the balons, eventually it ends up in someone getting beat up or stabbed....
You all realize, of course, that there is a major difference between these people, and the illegal drug dealers in parties - I don't recall an acid dealer (although a can't guarantee the same about E dealers....) starting a fight with the organizers or turf wars with other dealers - they are at peace with each other, doing their business quietly, through a mutual unspoken understanding that the party needs them as much as they need it (and usually they are not only dealers, but also customers, and actually came to enjoy the party...).
To sum it up - we've (probably) all enjoyed a few balons here and there in our lifetime. I can even understand the people saying they like to have a balon here and there at a party. But as they say - "what to do?" - the balons have had a seriously negative influence on parties. It is a disease (much like people who break into cars, and other kinds of crap) which has invaded psy-trance parties in Israel, and must be stopped.

If they could be used without causing troubles to the party's vibe, the party crowd, the promoters and the DJs, then I wouldn't have anything against them. But it seems it's not the case...
