Make the decay and/or the lenghts of the notes in your bass shorter. Also make a small peak arround 80-100hz > you'll get a much stronger/driving/'kickin' bassline

Anyway good job, you are very talented + you have a feeling for sort of a groove/a rithm. Did you ever drummed or learned to deal with structured rithms?
I'm having troubles with that Too messy, I want one big tune were everything fit's/'grooves'/... hehehehe

Good one!

Cheers and have a nice day further.

hey Lithium! Nice track...

compose the rest and dont care about the bass and stuff! you could think about other stuff now... more interesting

its better to leave energy for creative things now, the bass question is a creativity killer and should be left out for its own process..

call it frequency analyzing process! where you check every sound and depending on what material you are working on listen if it sounds good, if every sound gets its own space and if the sound has its right frequency character.. and so on.

and when its taken care of the bass of all elements should be considerd, and aswell the mid-range and treble of all elements.
so its good to leave this for its own process..

but its also good to think about during creation, its always good to be a step ahead!

good practise is guessing where a particular instrument or sound resides, where it has most power, lets say the root frequency(ies).

anyway

You are correct about the bass is flooding the kick. You can either make the bass notes a little shorter.. or if you are out for that tribal kind of bass which is droning and full you should maybe just evenout some low freqs plus some low middle freqs on the bass...maybe a lose some attack of the bass to make it smoother, experiment what you like... dont overdo it =) just a slope.. take your time to think of what kind of bass you are after... maybe a thing like this can be good controlled with a multiband compressor.. so dont waste too much time with it now..

also some modulation on the lead that comes at
01:50, twist it up a bit.. harmonical or disharmonical... also think it needs some contrast.
the lead that comes at 02:21 could use some contrast aswell, something darker... maybe a combination of overdrive and going lower with the filter can do something interesting... or just a new lead which has more resonance and a Fmish twist could join like a rhythmic pattern...

i think
you can fill the low middle freqs a bit more with the leads... at least i think you got some more room.. try bringing back some on the reverb or bring back some of the Eq cutting. but this can depend on if you incoporate more leads or other sounds... if you maybe add some atmospheres which has some more low middle range or something like that...

now my friend do your thing and tweak those knobs and buttons and just get crazy!
