"the party of the year"
was an illegal party... no ambulances, no licences, in a football field surrounded by houses and fences.
all the money went straight to the organizer pockets. the vj'ing was a bad joke (almost-frozen projections in a sheet of 1x1 meter), the worst sounding PA I ever listened to in Portugal, fucked-up and very VERY low.
lights: still white lights with a laser-robot from time to time, in a totally frozen bright ambient.
I don't understand how can still happen illegal and almost criminal parties like this. No licences, no respect for the live-acts (shity sound, azax suffered like a mad man to try and turn the situation and rinkadink showed is face of clown-liar, with an unbelievable attitude of arrogance and childish theatre of freakiness, total desilusion). This kind of party give Portugal a bad name, and people that organize something like this are thiefs for stealing 20 euros without paying any licence and promoting a dance event with no medical support...
i was caught by surprise in this situation... saw 2 of my favourite acts going down the druggy/bad wave sewer... lost a lot of money due to totally wrong (but intelligent) publicity and got into the worst ambience and people in the portuguese party scene, some of them i haven't seen arround since 2000 or 2001...

humm i can see by your thread it wasn´t a good party...but was it all that bad...?how was it the sound?i mean the dj´s..it seems only azax and rinkadink played.

Party was killer one, good sound system by Mackie, i had the chance to play with it from long time, i did not see Azax performance but people told me he broke the dancefloor 10x. Rinkadink did a hell of a job. Afterall it was one of the best parties of 2005 till now, bring us more Synergic Minds.

serguei you are to negative man the party was not so bad like you said its true tht the place should be a litle but better but it was the same place where logic bomb and talamasca played in the pass, anyway the sound system was not the best one but overall for the first party of a organization i give my sinceraly congratulations for thei gathering i dont think the vibe was so bad like you say serguei.
i see many parties from respected organizers much worst than this one tht senergy mind made.
keep the good work guys this event was a sucess.
ps-rinkadink once more showed his skills to our crowed. looking forward to the album, "and also to the collaboration with a portuguese artist " i will cross my fingers for this project heheh |

i accept the too negative comment: i indeed wrote this still inflamed by what i felt, and the way i said it wasn't the best.
i complain because the party wasn't legal, the place wasn't good, the sound was low and badly-calibrated and didn't felt any trance vibe anywhere there (this one is my personal opinion of course, and it's subjective). if things go well that's cool, but if someone needs medical assistance there's no way to go back and ask for the ambulance that should be there already, and this is the main point for me.. this wasn't a free party
as for the artists of course they had problems with the sound, and was very easy to see azax struggling with technical problems and poor-sounding PA. I had fun during Ajax set and live, but Ajax's set was not so good as in Boom, mainly because he wasn't confortable on stage and couldn't lead the crowd like he did before.. and his sound changed to other areas. Of course I don't blame the organizers for this  and this is only my opinion, i have friends that liked it a lot.
As for rinkadink, he was my favourite in Boom. In this party he was very arrogant, wasn't natural at all, always pretending and faking expressions and behaviour... and he did very little live i think. his sound wasn't so good too as before, my opinion of course.

for what i know that was a superparty , i saw lots of forums and all forums are speaking very welel of this party , one of the best until now this year ,
azax was killler , it was here at my place with the org , we heard some of the stuff he played and good sake .. killllerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr for sureeeeeeeee ekekke
rinkadink was good too , so i think it was a nice party , bether that many ive ssen until now
and dont forget ppl this is they'r first party and for they'r first party i think it was very nice and perfect: )

no i don't have any diferent interest than the trance dancer one.
I'm sorry for saying it was an illegal party. I said that because i have been told by people all the time that the police presence at the door was always the direct consequence of the licencing. That was were I got the idea of it's ilegality, and for that i apologize for the organizers. Fun_Gas explained me what happened and how it worked, so i admit my mistake.
As for the party, of course i keep my opinion about the structure, place, sound and light conditions. It's what I think and i sincerely say it to see it change for the best in the future. The name of the promotors isn't an issue for me, i'm not connected to any promotor, i'm a producer and a dancer, and therefor i would say the same if Boom or the Voov crew organized this one like this...
My REAL intention is to see things change for the best.. and so i sincerely hope people's critics like mine help the organizers to do it better next time.. and if the good taste in the line-up continues, i'll maybe be there to see the evolution

hello to all ....
after reading this post , i decided to give my point of view to this event :
i think this party was SUPER great !
2 big tents, great decoration, vga screen, lazers and roboscans, they even had a fog machine ....
sound - p.a was also very good,clean sound and high volume! i really enjoyed working with that sound man - a true professional...
crowd - about 1500 ppl, with great vibes, just explode all party , untill 20:00 the next day !!!
music - i cant say about myself nothing exept i had a great time to play for this crowd, rinkadink was briliant ! also local dj's have done very good job!
the party orginisers gave a happy hour at the bar, and 100 litter of FREE BEER !!
BIG THANX for the crowd, for singing "happy B-day" in portugeese for me !
this effort i will never forget
so, if anyone thought i "suffered" there, they must have been tripping...Badly !
i thank again the orginizers, the lovely crowd, and this wonderfull country for one of my best birthday parties ever !!

What a fucking party it was!  Really great one... Azax really rocked the dance floor, he deserve all of the good wishes! Congratulations .... come back soon!!
Rinkadink also played very well ... Nice sound pall! & the dj's had a good performance too...
Also liked the ambience ... really good friends in there! Love you all! 
Congratulations to Synergic Minds ... Keep that good vibes!! Always work for better works...

i had a great time at this party.....i had lot of work making the Synergic Minds Website and i still had more work at the party but it was all worth it
it was a pleasure to meet Rinkadink and Azax Syndrom personally...........and Regev, your Azax Syndrom Website is coming very soon...
