well, as usuall, it seems it falls upon me to be the avi and zohar reviewer :) fine with me.
so, of course the rain was a bad omen, and unfortunately the party moved to a closed space, something i didn't really want for this kind of party but...
well, after waiting for all my friends to come together we drove to the party at about 2:30 a.m, and after losing our way and getting to um-el-fahem and almost being hit by lightning and hail and what not, we arrived at the party at about 4:30! this is the first time this happens to me. but it seems like it was luck, cause when i got there, there was someone who played nice music but after half an hour he was replaced with someone which totally killed me, very fast music, monotonic and totally senseless, blew me away, and i bided my time smoking a bit, then came another not too promising, and then hercules which also went by the same line till about 7:30- 8:00 when he changed direction a bit which was good, and it seemed like he was waiting for it too, cause the whole time before he didn't move and was very passive and then he started moving a bit (why didn't you blow out from the beginning?)
anyway, that was a bit disappointing, but i'm not a night person.
so, now for the morning came avi, and as usuall, the rocking began!
many people left so there was suddenly a lot more space to jump, which i used quite nicely :)
so as usuall cookie and uzi, you left the party too early, you should've slept in the car and came back later like most of my friends did.
so, i don't really know which dj was which, so i can't say the names, but avi got us up, the one after him, was so so, and the one after that took us back up again. but all in all, for the full-on maniacs like i am, this morning was the best i could expect from a closed place, and just being there with so many people i know made it even better!
i just smiled half the morning from seeing people jumping with joy, people going between everyone and making people dig harder, i love that, and of course the chilums were flying like never before, i just love it that the dj gets his puff :)
and one more thing, the really great thing about the night was the decoration, man it was great! the trails above with the sperm-like uv thingies :) and all the longies from the sides and more, it was really a sight after the last few parties where i've always said where are the longies? :) (a great job guys, doing this only in one day!)
so, anyway, the people that left are nuts as always, you've missed a nice thing, there were many cute girls, a whole lot more good people than the last parties in palmahim, and a big step towards getting back to the older parties way, i just love seeing karahana! :D
p.s: just a side note, don't eat burgers with matza buns after a party where you've totally exhausted yourself, you don't wanna know what i'm going through now :)
p.s 2: hope there will be more cooperations like this between eyal and dotan, and avi and zohar. keep the fire burning! :)

well , sure sounds like a nice party and that people had good time there, i wanted the forest but the damn weather ruined my plans, so i decided to save the money and the energy for some outdoor instead, i'm sure that if i came i would have enjoyed but still it's not the same .
when was it finished ? did it last for 20 hours like it was suppose to be ? |

First of all, this party was moved from outdoors into a warehouse. Now in Israel warehouse parties are not a really common thing, but it's a very good techno enviroment, not nearly as good as outdoors for trance. But, because it was raining, it was as well decorated (very good job!) as a warehouse could be, and because of the large spaces there, it didn't have that ultra-hot crowded, smoke and sweat smelling atmosphere. Turbosound system at ultra-high volume.
OK, first up were the PPS Project. Very well done techtrance, with a slightly more progressive build than the average techtrance act. Not my cup of tea. Alex (Boshke) Bitov put on some MORE techtrance. I really thought that someone from Boshke Beats could look outside and see the sun coming up, but what he played was NOT morning music.
... by this point, my "afikoman" was starting to do crazy stuff with me. You could see who the liquid people were ;)...
Hercules came up, started to play harsh. 8:32 AM, the only time I looked at my watch and remembered the time, so I think that would be the peak of the set for me :)... When he finished his set, I said 2 words to describe it: "HOLY SHIT!"
Like I told him when he was on the way out, EXCELLENT WORK. Mad music, built like a mathematical equation and going as deep as a brain surgeon.
Next set was full-on morning music, but this was just too much, a total exaggeration after Hercules' precission. Lish came up next, chasing the crowd away. Night music which uses very effective yet extremely obvious ideas in order to make you dig. But it's digging and nothing more. Do yourselves a favor, see Lish only at night.
Overall, I had a blast. A great vibe from the people there, and it was worth it just to see Hercules, if not for any other reason.

PS2: Uzi: It took me about 3 minutes to understand what you said, but it was registered, processed and eventually assimilated :)

Uzi and myself arrived there quite early, get inside the place before the party and talked with Tiran...
By the way, thanks Tiran for everything. :D
I was overwhealmed by the deco... Wow what a great work!!! These big hands behind the d.j, the "sperms" on the ceiling... the one who did it is a great artist!
The place was a huge hangar, that could contain around 2000 people if not more. To my opinion there were more then 1000 people
It started with PPS Project, whi I really liked. Samuel (talked to you after your set if u remember), you were good! Apparently the last 1.5 hours u played your music only.
After that came Alex from Boshke, he was groovier, tended more to be tech-house than trance.
Hercules showed them all!!! He was GOOD!!! His music and d.jing skills were excellent. Just that it was hard for me to move to such a music at 8 o'clock in the morning. It's hard to listen to this hard night music from 3 to 8...
By the way Hercules, I showed up eventually... :-)
Yes, we left quite early... didn't know how long we'd have to wait for some morning music, so we went home.
Freeky, was great seeing you and your friends again. Dr. Gonzo, at last we meet ;-)... for once u didn't fall asleep. Jumping Santa, you make me laugh everytime I see you.
Assaf Shenberg, I'll start to think eventually that you're afraid of me or something :-)

Boris, didn't expect u there, good to see u again
Well guys, to sum it up, it was heaven for the tech-trance lovers!!! (only lsd people enjoyed it I think)!!!

hellooo people!
first of all i'll like to apologize freaka if u got the wrong direction from me...sorry bro,and i c that the lightning didnt change ur haircut;-)
the party could b better ofcourse if it wouldnt have rained but still,the musical lineup was weird,for sure the duration of the dj sets!!!
hercules,which i'm sure is a nice dj talent,did some night tunes but in the morning till 8 oclock!!! and it was avi who made my suffer gone away this time...thumbs up,the first time i hear boom shankar in a party :-)
after avi finished i went home,i think lish went up after him which,if its true,a bit weird for this hour,can i get some full on plz?!?!?
the decoration was very nice,its time for the organizer in our country of israel to do some theme parties with special decoration,that will b great! the sperm things above was a nice idea.
its good to meet u cookie,this time i was awake for sure ;-) maybe it was the matza from the seder...;-)
if anyone know the lineup there and the times of it,plz post,thanx
and one more thing - when u c djs who put some music and dont move,seen like and ice-cold dead bodies,its really bug me. look at avi,he danced, jumped and when u get this kind of vibe from the dj u act different and it sure help the party vibe. its a point to think about hercules,move!!!

cookie i didn't saw u !!!
we came in 1:30 and waited until 3:00 party isn't
started so we back home
didn't like the organization coz they started only in 3:30 or whatever
but decorations seems to be nice there and i like that u ppl enjoyed there

well i saw this guy a lot on various parties, and i'm sure he's a nice guy and everything, but his hands really freaked me out, i don't know it just looks too weird . |

i even thought i saw there a boy dressed like a girl , or maybe i did ;)

I don't think that a trance party anywhere in the world is the same without a crazy Japanese raver :). Third party in a row that I see him, and he's been giving me a great vibe each time. The big hands rock :) |

yeah :) i sure would like to see a japanese party :) nust be a carnaval, seems like he's got purim in his head every party, and that is a real party holiday :)
well, to sum up my perception of this party is like this:
techtrance at night might be nice (though i'd appreciate only trance without the tech part), but keeping it on till one and a half hours after the sun comes up is an evil thing :) no matter if like asaf said, he built it up nicely, he should've built it up an hour before, and so having avi boom us up just after hercules's set was i think a good decision coming from someone who read the crowd and saw that their knees have had enough of 150 bpm tracks, lish was also a bit out of place, and i did want to see him doing his show, but really could've been much better at the time that's right for him, the night.
so, the only problem i've had with this party was that until after lish's set the music was too mixed up in night-morning-night -morning music, which kinda freaked :) me, it's a good thing there was the chill-out zone and the sun outside in the morning for our morning stroll.
so, lots of ups in this party (especially the deco, and the people) some downs (mixed sets, zohar not playing, waited for your set dude :) hope you'll make up for it in the next one, boom me up zohar :)), all in all, a very good party for the kind of whacky weather that went on there, and a great organising.

I saw him a couple of time already. Once in the twins party near the "Tavor" mountain.
Did anyone notive the "karate" guy?
He was dancing topless near the d.j. I always see him in parties (always very high and very much hallucinating). |
