Must be a kiwi?

no need to bring kiwi's into this! i happen to be a kiwi myself and have been openly exposed to, grown up in, and involved in the trance scene of australia, where it rocks and i like it, make that LOVE it! i'm going to label myself as a kiwi, regardless of my upbringing and tell you i come from cairns!! YEeeeHAAAAAAAA! and to tell you the truth would never say such silliness, or even mean to be mean as to depict a nationality from another thats what I call "rasicm", wouldn't you agree...??

anyways psy psy trance is BIG in australia and coming is the dawn, and the dusk; a new day where progression at it's minimalist takes the cake!

so, had enough of the nothingness of smart arse comments for 1 day.... peace!

I think that Eiji is a female vocalist? Fantastic track on Iconic, the melody goes maybe a little too far, but very good none the less.

Parties in Brisbane are becoming easier to find thankfully. We do have a history of been the NRG capital of the world and the promotions organisations have lapped it up because they all want $ and not much else. The psychedelic scene has taken leaps and bounds over the past couple of years though and is now recognised and accpeted throughout all the major promotional organisations. This will make it easier for people to find out about events which will allow the scene to grow

Some great stuff coming up including Space Tribe (live) this Friday and at the end of this month, one of Brisbane's annual highlights - Orphic!

So yes, Brisbane has been very slow to catch on with the psychedelic thing - mostly because Byron does it so well. But now we have a culture of our own that is very fresh and experimental. In fact I dont think Id be too far wrong in voiceing that Brisbane has the most experimental scene in Australia!

Just to sort something's out...

Devic Craft was a project i had with two other guys in greece, releasing experimental trance. Now this project is gone.

Creative Space is a project i have with one more guy, is not a TRANCE label, but a electronica label, which will release breaks, ambient, tekno, industrial, idm, electronica..

Of course during my time running Devic Craft, i made connections/friendships with artists an some of these artist's NON-TRANCE projects will be released from this label .

Our first release is indeed RipVanHippy and Eiji, which is NOT A TRANCE ALBUM but a CHILL album with some tekno/trance influences . Eiji is NOT a female vocalist but a electronic musician and guitarist and he writes music under the chofu dark ducks name and releases on the Republic of Inch Keys experimental ambient label.

Next is Nam Shub vs Kiki Ill , it is a HARD BREAKS/ HARD CORE/ BREAKCORE/ GRIME album, very psychedelic in my opinion - Nam Shub was never a trance artist, even though he released music on demon tea in the past which was a exp. trance label .

TheN the new Outolintu album is next, again it is NOT TRANCE IN ANY WAY. It is weird forest breaks and electronica, ultra psychedelic, more like electronica artist Joseph Nothing but a lot more complicated and psychedelic.

Then first album by spanish artist metropol, an industrial tekno ambient project..

more releases are planed , sorry no psy-record store distribution, as these releases are intended for the electronica market.

ps. moderator i know this is out of the subject but in this thread things were said about my label and it's artists and i had to straight things out...
