price are usually willing to give 25-30e for a city party with 1-2 guests and maximum 8hours of music.
hmm, do the math.
ps. in all festivals i've been i never complained about the price i payed and i'm not even rich. does it seem reasonable only to me ?

i fully agree with you but we cant say its 240 hours of music. its 120 hours and we choose what we like to listen to.
anyway, if everything goes on program , the prices are ok to me and im not rich also. at least they are not so bad to complain about
:HOL BAUMAN cancel all his tour because he is focusin on some music project
Gab Le Mar / Alex Azary cancel because they have some family things to take care
Ollie Olsen aka shaolin wooden men :cancel because of his own personal things and focus on some movie soundtrack...
THESE Cancelations has nothin to do with the Festival and responsible are the artists.Feel free to ask them....

ever had to do with artists bookings yourself - you know even atists are human beings - they can change plans, get sick, get married, have an accident, missmanage things or whatever
so stop attacking people which is setting up things in this forum and for gods sake let that festival happen.
you don't like the way aurora is done or having a problem with the orgs.

Have you ever heard of Artist Performance Contract and Artist Rider?
Let me excerpt an important point from an actual contract regarding what we are talking about:
"VALIDITY OF AGREEMENT: This Performance Contract, and the Artist Rider to which it pertains shall constitute the entire agreement between Artist and Purchaser and the above mentioned documents and conditions will become VALID only after being signed by both parties."
As a matter of fact have you ever seen for ex. Glastonbury, Glade etc.. are announcing their line up 10 months in advance? NO! NO! NO! NO!
Simply because they first confirm the artists 100% and then they announce who is going to be performing and every festival goes knows what he/she is paying for.
I actually work on events 10 times the scale of Aurora and every contract I’ve dealt with also states that it is illegal for a promoter to claim or advertise an artist before their 100% confirmation (which would mean the signing of the contract).
Your attitude of blaming the artists is not only just an insult for the artists themselves but it is also a huge deception for the people paying for your festival.
It is starting to look like to all of us that Aurora claims that every artist they have just e-mailed is a confirmed artists he he

hello people haris p here aka fishimself --the booking stage manager of alternative stage...for people that keep blaming and saying things about cancelation and all that ...emails of gabriel le mar / ollie olsen /hol bauman ...that proove 1000% that is their side and not the festival's side that they did not manage to came.The times we publish those names they were all officialy 100% ok to come by emails and telephones as far as official documents and contracts mr clever people yes : me personaly a magazine owner [freeze magazine] , record shop owner [it record shop] member of ultimae records do not know a bit of them...hehhe...let the negativity go people.....if u do not like do not come!!!
Let’s see which artists show up and which don’t in the end...
Don't forget to keep count... and most of all celebrate each time a cancellation takes place. After all we greeks prefer to lough at others instead of actually improve ourselves...
