We would like to thank the Municipality of Samothraki Island & the local people for the support and the hospitality also we want to thank all of you for your patient and insistence in our orgazition all this years.
The festival will be carried out regularly in Samothrace as we have announce from begin from Tuesday 23 until Monday 29 August 2011.
We believe that all together and with the experience that we in the past few year developed in combination with the new place where it will also entertain us we can live separate experiences.
We apologize for the delay of receipt of hard tickets to the local points of advance selling, it was created of the press error in their production. Because of the delay we will extend the date of availability of tickets (100e) until end of June.
We wish good summertime in all,

The island of Samothrace is the place the Great Gods chose as their Sanctuary! Chthonic deities, believed to predate the twelve gods of Olympus, have always been an enigma as it was a taboo for their names to be pronounced. The congregation of the Great Gods had as a central figure the Great Mother which has also been associated with the Phrygian Cybele, the Trojan Mother Goddess and later with the Greek fertility goddess Demeter.
The Temple of Gnosis is opening for the first time in honor of the female energy that nurtures all life! Mother Earth, Human Spirit and Divine Communication used to take place in Samothrace for thousands of years.

hmmm..really?..i was at aurora 2009 and it was one hell of a festival..had great time with my friends and zero complaints about the way festival was organised.
maybe you could throw in more facts and enlighten us as what went wrong.

Booked my early bird tickets from May! As for all you Germans that are coming to Greece beware because the Greeks can tax you more for anything you buy in order to pay the loan with the huge repay. Hahaha. Just kidding. I also think that it is far better than Ozora. Last year in ozora i saw and heard the old people of trance trying to play music with no result at all (Raja ram, shpongle, prometheus etc). Greece has many good trance artists that will perform as well as international, not to mention the location which dont fool ourselfs it is the closest you get to an exotic island location within Europe. As for foreigners keep your eyes wide open and try not to be tricked and falling into tourist traps, because we Greeks as always try to survive in this summer of economic doom and chaos which is forced upon us by the European elite.
Thats all from a Greek psy freak which cannot wait till August for Samothraki as the rest of you people out there |

I will NOT play at Aurora this year, say "Thx" for this to organizers of the festival. Till now I have no bookings for flights and etc, that's why I can't make visa, and today time is over for it. It's really not serious, not professional . |

hmmm, i feel something's not going well generaly, i read something to Samothraki news about that camping site stoped the preparation works first day right away, as they said, organizers didn't had all papers needed for it...
i can't find the link again unfortunately, make a little search work...
