Our very own cosmic navigator Joao Apell Aka AUDIALIZE is about to take us all on a cosmic journey upon STARSHIP EARTH!! This divine collection of 9 space and time altering tracks has been a work of love, inspiration and dedication. AUDIALIZE is one of the break out artists that has been part of the new wave of trance producers coming out of Portugal. He has been one of the musical pillars on which the strong new Portuguese sound has been built on, using a combination of squelching melodies, infectious basslines and crystal clear production. He has previously released his debut album Audialize - Wanted, which received a lot of critical acclaim and could be heard on dancfloors across the globe from Goa to Tokyo, and from Lisbon to Tel Aviv. His sound could only be described as Unique, uplifting, deep emotional psy trance with a raw power that shakes us to our core. Being a graduate of Sound Engineering school in Portugal his technical knowledge of sounds and frequencies is clear and cutting edge and thus the quality of sounds and production that comes through the tracks Is on a level all of his own.
Besides being a labor of love this album has put together all of the elements that are required in a true psy trance journey, from the opening track SKYLIGHT NAVIGATION SYSTEM, which is a full power, uplifting explosive beginning to the album showing off his total control over the audio frequencies, that make the human body dance both conscious and subconsciously. We then go into a deeper and more serious CENTRE VIEW which shows that its not only hi-end acoustics and melodies that have such an effect on us but also the raw power of low frequencies and rubber band basslines. His third track SAUCE COMMANDER is a fusion of both the melodious as well as the deep and brings us closer to a clear understanding of how talented this young man is. The forth chapter of this album TRANCECRYPTION is a total annihilator of the dancefloor with amazing percussion and leads and atmospheric pads that totally surround the listener and take him into the world of STARSHIP EARTH which is the fifth and arguably the most explosive dancfloor track heard in ages. This track is the tittle track of the album and rightly so, starting off with a creeping bassline slowly taking you into his trademark screaming leads and rising and rising until you get to the mega-break which is total hands in the air, dust flying, dancfloor mayhem “STAR SHIP EARTH IS READY FOR TAKE OFF”. After this the sixth track shows a more playful side of the artist with the track FUN RULES, with a wobbly bassline, ingenious kick and searing leads cut right through making us have to keep up and dance. The seventh installment is a more introspect view into the soul of the listener MEET YOURSELF is one of those tracks that one must close their eyes and simply let the flow and journey of the music guide them into the mystical cosmic realm of digital frequencies which manage to evoke our inner being. The final dancfloor track on this album is very suiting and well placed PLASMAGLOW is a melancholic and thought provoking track that shows that this artist is not only going for the dancfloor value but also the home listener and showing a control of emotion and intelligence that is rarely seen in today’s full on trance albums one of the true master pieces of this album. And finally to close out this incredible journey we have a sneak peak into the talent and diversity of Audialize showing us his more down-tempo chillout side project with the track RECENT GLORY that is a relaxing, emotional and shanti way to close out an album. Through the journey we hope the listener does reach a new level of audio exploration and has an enjoyable journey upon STARSHIP EARTH.
