melody..sound...bassline..astrix makes evrything a lot better
psydrop is just a cheap copier!

I still think they don't sound THAT similar... i think alien project sounds more like astrix than psydrop.
psydrop is a lot "harder", the melodies are somewhat different, their tracks flow in a very different way... and psydrop uses a lot more voice samples than astrix!
except a few tracks from each one, i think both of them are too much "dj music"... if you understand what i mean.
i think that is the problem nowadays... there is too much music being produced for dj's instead of home listeners |

Imho Astrix is better. Better melody and better basslines it's as simple as that.

they dont have the same style!! psydrop have more power in his track & psycadelic sounds then astrix.
astrix melodies is more like a club trance.

in my opinion both are good.. its just perspective how you look at it.. astrix does tend to lean more towads club trance..

They have diferent ways to make music for example, psydrop basslines i guess, are over eq, the low freq literally eats the mid one. astrix basslines are cleanly.
psydrop uses faster BPM's than Astrix.
i love both, Digital Culture Bassline on Fantasy seeds really kick's assis awesome. in the other hand, Astrix really has revolutionaded the psytrance in the last years. i love "Rythmos" from global psychedelic chill out vol. 4 thats a monster atmosphere of a really chill track.
i have seen both live. and they kick ass like anybody, imagine, if they do a Project Together,..

psydrop is another clone of astrix
there are lots of new-regular-fullon-astrix-clones nowdays.
astrix is better !

hehe these topics rock!!! (not!)
well I can dance and listen to them both ... but if I had to choose one: Psydrop (because i like the harder edge) ...
but this is just a matter of taste .. 
And yeah, they should do a project together
