I never liked Avi Nissim & Lior Perlmutter's stuff .
I dunno why , but I just can't hear any of their old stuff .
that is why I'm looking forward to their incoming stuff ...
I wonder if I'm gonna like their new millenium stuff :)

And Maybe u should wait till their incoming CD is released .

Cheers.

I really like them because they introduced me the psytrance and i think that they're productions is absolutely amazing, so rich colourful, and multiple layered music. That's Goa in it's best.
Besides it makes me happy something that all the recent dark psy minimal shit doesn't do.
Goa rules.
Though Swedes rule too!

I never said that their music is shit , I never said they don't make any good music ,
I just dont like their stuff .
I appreciate what they've done/made in the world of trance , they brought israel deep into the sea of goa .
And I have a lot of respect for them , but I still dont like their stuff !
That's all :)

Cheers.

They're working on the new album, but it will still take time. I heard some unfinished tunes- some in the same vein, some with surprises in them. But with Astral it's never done till it's done, so you can't know.
A good way to hear what they're cooking is to check them play- they always test their new stuff when they play, and then go back to the studio with it.

In sound quality and production, Astral are tops, but I really miss the spirit they had with their older material (Mehadeva was SO right at the time, and Let There Be Light was my favorite track before I discovered the name of the real act was Hallucinogen :)).

But lets admit it - since the trio got down to two, they lost something, and they haven't shown many of those flashes of energy that they used to have (even though you can still hear it from time to time, it's not the same).

Totaly Don't agree with you.......
Listen to "Another Wolrd" Of "Dancing Galaxy" (The Albums)
and tell me again that they have no spirit in their tracks..

No spirit?
Listen to Axis V0.99! Many people say it's commercialized club trance, but this is the most emotional spiritual club track I have ever heard. I hope that their new album will be something like this.

I must agree with asaf, AP's old stuff is much much better than the "new".. mahadeva, kabala, let there be light and all the other old tracks have such feelings in them, it plays with ones emotions.. their new stuff doesn't do it the same. i don't know if it's because of the fact they recycle their music or it is really because of the fact they said all they had to say...

All in all- great group, mucho respecto ;)

i hate axis vo.99....
its the kind of euroy trance that i tunreed to psytrance in order to escape

other wise check out their new track, everything is possible, on transient

its a little similar to people can fly
but ehre you go

seriously, though, the whole astral and infected / commercialisation argument is becoming a little tired

like, infected change their style after classical mushroom, and everyone criticses them

but astral carry on making similar stuff over the years
and people criticise them for not changing!!!

we should form tweo political parties... the astral party, and the infected party

For me also something was not the same since Yaniv Haviv left.

But actually I like Axis 0.99, it reminds me of the beginning of trance on 1993 (the Trance Mix compilation time). Still something is missing with this track- maybe a little more work it could be a real smasher.
