Is it just that nobody really knows who Astral is? I can't imagine that's true though...but no one seems interested in anything about them, whereas the Infected posts got lots of reviews. Any ideas? |

Hey "ohminflight" come and be my guest for this party and see how many people are knows ASTRAL and how many people interested about them.
yes u r right "future funk" everyone is tired from avalon club... this is why we have every party 1600 - 2000 people. yes it's crowded but this is what we tray to do in nyc, to make it bigger and bigger !! so stop to complainant all the time a bout Avalon so come to party and listen to very good TRANCE music.

Avalon is an infamous commercial club, it has a crowd of 1200 people every week regardless of what genre of music is playing. The crowd that goes there every week doesn't know what psytrance music is and doesn't care.
Many psytrance people, especially women don't like going to Avalon, because of the large numbers of men who go there with the intention of drinking to much, agressivlly hitting on women, and picking fights. I believe the Israelis call them "Arsim".
Unfortunatly, it is one of the few large dance clubs in Manhattan that will let in people under 21, which is why the promoters probably booked it.
However, trancemotion, you should think about booking the Frying Pan at Chelsea Piers, you could have Astral Projection play all night outdoors next to the Hudson River.
Also, you could book "the hook" in Brooklyn, it has a cool back garden with benches. Or, you could try booking club Axis in Queens near Shea Stadium, they are trance friendly.

Hey “pisces 1979” the frying pan is Open until 4am in the morning u can’t make party after 4am and the sound is very low! the Hook and Axis r nice place but form my experience in Nyc all the last 5 year u lose and people if u going Out from the city. Today all the big Artist are very expensive and if u bring them we can lose money with 500 people. Yes Avalon is not perfect club But it’s a big club good sound and location inside Manhattan. No one won’t to give Saturday night in Manhattan!! We’re tray to do the best and bring to Ny all the big psy-trance DJs. if u have any other idea u can contact with me I’ll be happy. Im tray to found different venue But like I said it’s very hard !!

actually those who don't know what is AP - must listen to Dancing Galaxy and fast, but its a big question whether they'll play old music coz thier recent stuff sounds not so magic .. anyway for sure they will give good trance, but there is another party at this date with less famous line-up yet interesting too. seems like I'll go where it is less crowded

There was a psytrance party at the frying pan in April that went until 7AM, and it was loud!

Actually Pisces, the party in April at Frying Pan went until 9:00am (just a slight correction )  It was one of the best parties
