Np dude a lot people have this problem and don't know how to fix it
i remember i trying to use apogee mic on windows and this crash happen

I use Cubase 7.5.20.
This been the 3rd time (BSOD) this happen in a middle of my working not given even chance to save my projects.
I have a sony vaio laptop (FIT Series) and the latest audio drivers (Audio Driver (Realtek) - 6.0.1.7177) and running on windows 8.1
It's so frustrating
PS: Does ASIO4ALL driver works under Windows 8.1?
I do have a audio interface (fast track series) but normally I don't take it out when I go to the library, coffeeshop, friend's house and so on.

yes ASIO4ALL working user Windows 8.1
That's why i stop using cubase which not have one of the imported stuff which is Auto save like other DAW.
it can be happen because virus/malware and other malicious software in your computer
i mean the blue screen of death
Try to install Malwarebytes to scan rot kit and other malicious software

yep.. why i dont bother with cracked software anymore... not that im impyling you are,just that the only time ive had the blue screen of death is when ive had certain plugins.. obvously back doored via sub 7 through a keygen (not all of them are seen or picked up as false tho) -why i wonder???? wel because they are clean... makes u wonder doesnt it?
not paying to the companies that giv u the joy of creativity is going to come at some sort of karamic cost........
lets face it,why would they want to give u software for free??? they dont,theres always a catch usally
they say that the keygenerator gets picked up as a virus false positive etc..bullshit! u know what, thats a great thing to say to someone to get them to turn off antivirus and infect....
anyways more to the point,if u have audio interface then u got kno need to bother with ASIO 4all...
Motu,RME,Focusrite etc
im using ableton 9 64bit with asio 4all new version,till i get another interface (sold due to problems,lots of probleeemmmmmmmmsssss lol) and its working fine - windows 8.1..
sounds like your going to have to comprimise something m8

Let me say that all audio interface from the all world been DESTROYED by another galaxy's power and I am just allow to use CUBASE WITH MY LAPTOP ONLY.
Is that would be possible with windows 8.1 without get BSOD because of my audio driver error?
Just pretend there is not audio interface in all planet, all galaxies and all universe.
P.S: The reason why I bought this laptop was to use with a genuine copy of Cubase 7.5, Halion Sonic 2 and NI Massive.
All genuine copies. No cracked software .
Btw I haven't tried use it with the newer version of ASIO yet, I may do it tonight when I get home.
Anybody else using ASIO4ALL or FAST TRACK PRO with Windows 8.1 without problem and which version?

Hmm sorry man, but you could actually have some other bug in your system, but only Asio4All is using the buggy "something"..
But, BSOD are your friends! Well, they are horrible, but they do tell you exactly what's wrong 
Just google a little bit and you will find more info about what's going bad

That said, every piece of software has bugs. And even the bugs have bugs. Maybe the bug is only reproducible in your system configuration, mayby it's already fixed but waiting to be released, maybe its a bug that got injected in a new version..
- Have you tried out using the standard Asio4All driver, not the beta one?
- Have you tried previous versions?

What I understood from the whole destruction of all soundcards is "imagine that he can only use his internal sound card", so all of our suggestions to change the sound card / driver aren't valid. He wants to use Asio4All, he wants it to work, and he wants his his system to not have bugs.
Again I must stress, if you have a BSOD the thing to do is read what it says, get the error code and message and just google the error code! There will be an answer telling you what the error code means (they don't just make them up in run time), and you'll get your fix - even if that means get a new PC or component.
Have you done this?
