hello psyfreakoids .

i am in into psy scene from last 8-9 years , and as the time had progressed i hav gone into this music so deep that its difficult for me to come out of it . nothing else stimulates my brain cells . this scene has become an integral part of my life . nothing else matters .

sometimes after tripping it feels as if v are going far away from this world to the planet where v have like minded ppl with like minded thoughts .everyone else seems like a stranger .
definitely v hav managed to create our own vibe with the scene .

i am in it for thr reast of my life ...ARE U ?

i dont know if i will be a part of the "scene"or if i actully travel to another planet or just travel deeper and deeper within, which i think gives the impression to traveling outwards....

but the way i look at it is that it is a genre of music that i have taken a liking to.....the music has a strong connection with psychedelics, which i cant keep pace with all my life....having said that,it is to be noted that once you start liking trance as a genre rather than a lifestyle, you are more likely to stick to it as a genre of music than a lifestyle...because lifestyles change, likings stay.....

i think the best thing would be if im in my senses at 65-70 and still enjoying my dose of chill out.....(i really dont think ill last that long at the current pace)

as far as being a part of the "scene" is concerned,im not bothered as long as i have my case with me.... if you are just talking about music than yes,i will die as a citizen of the scene, but otherwise, havnt really belived in the"scene"in our country.......im sure being a fellow citizen of our country, you know exactly what i mean.....if you dont, you are a part of the "scene".......

good luck

Like you, i am also into psy scene from last 89 years.

The scene back then was killaaaah! It really made life better for us in the trenches on the western front. Us Brits had our psy and the Germans... well they played that there techno on their gramophone machines.

I remember that Christmas morning when both sides declared a truce and we came together for a big techno-psy party out in no-man's-land. We booked Parasense to play but they were refused entry by German customs and never turned up.

Oh, the memories...

-------------

Returning back to reality for a moment (or at least to the ballpark of reality) I have been into electronic music since i first heard Kraftwerk's Autobahn on the radio back in the 70's and into psy since the mid 90's.

To me psy is just another type of electronic music and i honestly can't see a time when i won't like it. So, the answer to your question for me is yes, i think i am also in it for the rest of my life... and considering the way that i drink and smoke i can be pretty sure about that!
Am i the only one who believes in solipsism?

well i feel the same way after tripping .,, but when i'm back in reality .,, it's a lot different .,,, start seeing things how they are and not how they seem .,, a little practicality will help.

yes i'm in it . forever           missing plug-in

If I after being in a scene for 7-8 years still was completely caught up in this scene and still doing LSD or E's I would be a little scared and think about if it wasent time to get out in the real life and see what's out there too

And to say your into something for the rest of your life is in my opinion quite hard to live by.

I have been into many music styles and scenes in my life. To say that I will be into this scene the rest of my life is utopia. Especially with the recent years development in musicstyle that become less and less trance

Agree 100%. By the way, for the moment I love this scene, and I think it will be difficult to find something that would fit as well as trance has done with my life. Hope not to get tired/bored from this.

Yes i quite understand what you mean by that,, nothing in life is predictable., we all might die tomorrow for all you know( god forbid) .,, but haven't you ever had that gut feeling that it cant get better than tis and if it does it's got be something related to it. i've also progressed from all styles finally arriving with what i thought grabbed the best of everything !!

long live psy !!!           missing plug-in

Yes like 3 times (3 different music periods) in my life and you know what? It never became better simply because what you fall in love with never stay the same or even live up to what it was (int his case music).
That's why i move on instead of desperatly try to recapture what has been

why would i bother to understand why you want to know if i'm on for life or not?

i'm not complaining on the thread, merelly expressing my thoughts

Yeah it seems to be this way but I came first from other styles of electronic music, Prodigy, Fear Factory, Front Line Assembly, Happy Hardcore, Gabba, Drum n' Bass n' Space Jazz then Goa and now ambient/dub n' Drum n' bass again... music is a circle and there is so much out there that I am lost in the elctronic scene as whole,w ith Psy music as the centre and little explorations into th eouter realms of more popular music... today I find I'm quite bored of 4/4 beats, and lots of the older names and new names are exploring other styles of non 4/4 psy and this is were the freshness is I'll never stop listening to psy music, it is an integral part of my life, but what is psy is individuals, and some stuff considered no-psy here trips me out more than what is considered psy now-a-days.

hehe 30? so my 350+ must mean I'm one with it? It's not how much you own dude, i's what you get out of the scene that makes you want to stay or not... I have 200 drum n bass vinyl and cd but I rarely go to a drum n bass party and I canot stand most the people in the scene, but the music is awesome. I am into the psy scene for life as ell as the music...
